If you spray inside like that you will push the dirt/carbon towards and clog the MAP/MAF just after the throattle body. Just spray wet a clean rag and wipe clean the inside wall of TB and the butterfly flap.
I'm trying to find out if you cut the ignition on but not crank and put a stick to hold your gas pedal down the butterfly will be open enough to clean. You won't have to go through that relearn procedure Is that true?
Yes you can do that to, but you will have to be careful with the flap dont get shifted. As a matter of fact you have to clean the flap to so is best to unplug the jack on the Trottle body and clean it. That relearn normally comes back to normal after a drive. Hope this helps.
Next time ,put the switch to on position and put something on the gas pedal or someone pushing gas pedal so the throttle stays open or just remove the throttle body
