Car manufacturers have been raving about urban mobility these past few years. Urban congestion is a real problem today and it's an issue that seemingly has no end. But why is it only being an issue today?
Urban congestion is an old issue and though we are only hearing a lot about it today, Honda on the other hand has been talking about it since the 80s. In fact the Japanese company even presented its perceived solution to urban congestion.
That solution comes in the form of a mini motorcycle and a hatchback car. The idea was to drive the car to the edge of the city you wanted to go to. Park the car, and unfold the motorcycle. It is the last mile solution that urban planners are having a big problem with today.
Honda thought about it decades ago. And we got a chance to try it out for ourselves thanks to some generous friends who let us experience it ourselves.
