Great video, On a honda civic 2022 I'm not able to jump start the car but it turns off as soon as the battery is removed.. there is no display on the digital cluster even when the car is still connected to a fully charged battery.. the volt meter shows only 12 volts on a new battery but the volt does not go up if I accelerate, so it looks like the alternator is not sending tbe charge to the battery.. which will be the fuse for the alternator and does the alternator have a fuse ?
My 2018 Honda civic has the check charging system, the traction control light, brake system light and steering wheel light are all on. The car is running fine and turns over fine, my boyfriend looked at my engine and said my alternator sounded good. Any ideas?
Press the horn to see if horn work if it doesn’t check replace the horn fuse other wise u need to check alternator voltage out put and scan the car for codes
2018 Honda Civic ...All lights come on and car will not start. Alternator was changed a few months ago. Now same problems again. All lights come on car will not start. Please help
Well all lights will come on since engine is not starting so what u need to do is try jump starting some times it’s low power other wise scan the car with scan tool
I just placed in a brand new battery, new negative terminal as the one in the video and alternator all lights left but I get a little “i” symbol telling me charging system problem, is there anything that could possibly be? My mechanic couldn’t figure it out
What year make model is ur honda? Also press the horn let me know if it works? And did u only change the battery or alternator also? I want u to try one thing the sensor on the battery it’s a connector disconnect it and connect it back it. If you go back to ur mechanic have him check the alternator output voltage? So let me know the answer to all these question then we can follow up
I had my alternator and battery changed a year ago and I had a check charging system come on. I changed the battery and it still says the same thing. You think it could be this sensor? Also alternator is putting out low voltage.
