originally the honda civic eg hatch was using d15b double vtec but with automatic trans, auto ecu, auto intake mani, auto TB, auto iacv
previous owners used the short cut method to convert auto trans to manual trans BUT fuel burn was too rich, (you can view that on my previous vid about changing spark plugs).
they didn't replace the intake mani, TB, iacv and ecu to all manual
got the advice from mech and tuner to replace em all with full wiring harness scrap the obd2b and replace it with new obd1 wiring harness, scrap the adaptor, install manual p08 intake mani, TB, iacv for manual
and P06 ecu box rechipped, reprogrammed with SST chip and nichicon capacitors
double vtec converted to single at 5500rpm ( can't finde the p2j-j11 box so we just setttled with the p06 rechip)
no moolah for dyno, just street tuned for about 45mins, hills, straight, downhill, no clip for that sorry
so far fuel burn or sparkplug burn is way much better than before
