Thanks for this. Got caught speeding and now want to use my speed limiter to keep within road speed limits, this video explained much better than the car manual.
I have had cruise control before on an old Vauxhall and that was controlled by the stick. So this was all new. Gave up trying to read the manual! Your video is ace! So simple - when you know how :) Now to search your other videos to see what other Honda gems there are :)
😂ty pal, I bought a crv today and took it for a test drive and we dint know how to activate the cruise control 👌👌 good clear demonstration thank you, I now know how to use it 👍🍻
@@doolanbrian I do have a question tho if you don’t mind, in the center console there is 3 rca plugs, could I use a hdmi converter and use apple play thew the sat nav
This has really helped me. I live in Europe and my instruction book is in French, and I don't know how to get one in English. I have down-loaded it, but too many pages to print! I had cruise on my old Peugeot but it was set up quite differently. Again, thanks, I will look for/hope for more of your videos on this model.
Next I'm on with ' Intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) ' to get computer up, I've only managed change setting for remaining fuel from Ave Fuel, cannot have both and cannot actually just get the screen with all information up to cycle through in one place. This is one very unintuitive car, I've been here before on the Trip Computer woe but I do believe my cruise is up the wall.
Hi, could you help me pleasex. I have a 2009 Honda Accord 2.2 Dtec diesel and when I get to 30MPH it pings a noise and lights up on the dash to tell me its doing 30. Then it does it again at 60. If I am in slow traffic up and below 30 it pings too much. I cant find anything in the big honda hand book, which is diisapointing, but surely there is a way of switching it off. Any assistance greatly appreciated. I dont know if other honda guys have this problem. Thank you.
Could someone explain some info about all 3 switches to clutch pedal, all the same ? Cruise on Civic mk 9, 1.6 idtec not working. Try to adjust switch (but have anoher 2). Dont know about fuse but ive check some iluminate when check it with the lamp. Some dont. Dont know. Brake switch work ! Brakes bulbs dont stay on. Button from stering wheel ots working: cruise or limit (increase or dexrease speed). But cruise wont stay on when i press set. Have Accord in the past and adjust clutch switch and was fine. But this Civic i dont know how to fix it. Some ideas please ? Cheers
Thanks for video, I've registered onto a Civic Forum, should I be searching Cruise Control fault Civic !? Seams very odd, mostly I'm annoyed something intuitive over 10 seconds couldn't be made to work over 3,5 hours and then opening 500 page manual at page 276 later, no better off. I only have LIM for Limit using Main button, and no Speed symbol for Cruise. Odd, or annoying, I think the latter!
Ok first press Main then press LIM , the LIM button switches between LIMIT and CRUISE , when cruise comes on it won’t say cruise , it will just have a little clock symbol ! Does that makes sense ??
@@doolanbrian Yes, I'm a car trader of 15 years. I only get LIM for Limit using MAIN button. Hitting MAIN doesn't toggle onto the Cruise Symbol, just LIM on, LIM off. The ES Spec 2012 Model Civic has cruise and limit, could it be faulty software, hardware and spec show it, tried it for 3.5 hours getting back, thanks Dan
@@doolanbrian This page below is my Cruise button and quite strangely too another owner had the exact same on their 1st drive, didn't get the cruise up only LIM for limit, tho at the end of their drive they got the speed symbol and got Cruise, I didn't ! www.parkers.co.uk/honda/civic/hatchback-2012/long-term-reviews/november---cruise-confusion/
@@doolanbrian not working the buttons are present on the steering wheel island I may not have the cruise control option though. Its the 1•8L EX GT top of the range the only option to add was cruise control.
should be just one touch of button/lever like my mercedes vito it's easy this isn't had a hired one all day and ain't got around to sorting it shit car to drive anyway
