Awesome videos dude. This is a much cheaper way to tune honda. Nobody has 500 bucks to spend on an all in one chip.

Hello! this might be dumb question/something you may not be able to answer but when you adjust the high/low cam timing table to 12, is that only for the d16? or should i adjust it to 12 on my b series as well? is 12 the base map for everything or just the d16?

12* is only for the D16Y8. It's only specific to that generation of d series. Most Honda engines are 16*. You adjust your timing and sync it to the specs of your engine. At the end of the day, all you really need to do is make sure your ecu timing and mechanical timing is synced so if you change your timing to say 18* it is 18* or if you change to 12* it'll be 12*. Considering you have a b series, your base timing should be 16*.

I have a question. Will the PIC K150 be able to burn de SST27 chip for car tunning or do I need to buy the T48?

Sorry, I'm not a programmer and I'm not familiar with all devices used to program. Usually the device will have a compatibility list. From a quick simple Google search thr k150 doesn't look compatible to eeprom programming. The t48 is compatible.

I don't actually have any of the links for my burner anymore. I know I'm still running xgpro v1201, which is old compared to the v1255 that's out now. All I did was google xgpro v1201 and I see a github where you can download the software. Maybe try that?

Hey man could you or someone explain step by step what I have to do? So I have a p28 socketed already. Do I just have to purchase what your using and a blank chip for this to work? Or do I need something to burn the chip too? I’m just confused

The video outlines everything step by step. A map is what runs your engine. A chip is basically a blank memory card. Without a map on it, there's nothing there to tell your engine how to run. Yes, you need something to burn the chip. That's what this video is showing. I think you need to do some research on the basics of Honda tuning. There's some basics you need to understand before you should get started. Otherwise, you can really mess things up.

Also how do you live tune it, while datalogging? If I purchase a datalogging cable and plug into HTS for example will it just automatically start datalogging and can I make live adjustments on the chip while datalogging? Thanks

Again, you need to do some more research. Maybe research the difference between chips and emulators if you're looking to do live tuning. For datalogging, it's yes and no, if your ecu is setup properly and you have the software setup properly, then yes. A datalogger is exactly what the word is, it logs data. That's all it does. You can't write to the chip with datalog or your ecu.

@@BudgetGears ok I did a bit of research however my issues are that the data is from like 10 years ago none of it is up to date. Anyway, I realize now there’s a difference between the chip, data logger, emulator, and burner. My question is, since emulators are so expensive, if I just use HTS and a data logger and the burner in your video, how do I adjust the tune for turbo. What I mean is, while HTS is showing data I can make changes to the tune, then do I have to burn that instantly and repeat? Because I feel like I would be very careful tuning my turbo engine with not live adjustments.. thank you in advance your helping a lot

@@smokeandmirrors-pk6ic Depends on the emulator. I made a video on the most affordable emulator. The BMulator. It'll cost you probably as much as all the materials you're going to buy to burn chips. The creator has a bad rep so the HTS groups won't help you if you have any issues with that emulator. But yes, you can do what you mentioned by adjusting your map, shutting off car, burning map, putting chip back, start up car again and warm up to proper temp, and repeat. It's very slow, but it's how it was done before emulators. It's best you get 2 blank chips and just swap so you save the time.

Where can i find these xgo pro and crome programing softwares google just keeps directing me to things with similar names but moting ecu programing and keeps correcting me to "chrome" like google chrome. pls help thanks. amaizing videos keep up the good work

The burner may be discontinued now. You should be able to find it on Amazon, ebay, aliexpress, etc. Pretty much anywhere. If not, its probably discontinued. I think the newer version is the T48. You'll need to do some searching. Crome used to be available at the site tune with crome. Crome is old anyways and kind of sucks. I recommend using Honda Tuning Suite.

I'm still running the old school chrome chipped p28 ecu. What are the new stuff kids these days are using that will let me utilize my chipped p28?

You can use Honda Tuning Suite. Crome is pretty much obsolete now. Even the website is no longer working. Honda Tuning Suite is free and has better features than Crome.

@BudgetGears seems pretty straight forward. Gonna order one and tackle this. Think I still have couple sst chip back when Xenoncron was still in business. One last question does the HTS have the option to make my car pop like ak47? 😂

@@dajahvue lol! Yes, it does have that. I think it's under popcorn mod. I've never used it, but others on RU-vid might have tutorials on how to do it. The FB group can also help as well if you have questions on how to do it.

Yes, I believe that's just a newer version of what I have. The one I have is already discontinued.

I kinda jumped the gun and bought the same burner u have in the video without seeing how to work it to install the drivers n such to get it to work with crome but I can’t figure it out 😅think u could help me out?

Not sure how I can help, but if you have specific questions, I can try and answer them. It's pretty straight forward, you install the software from the manufacturer and then you burn the bin file like how I showed in the video. I do recommend using HTS maps instead because they have way more features than the free version of Crome.

Do you mean purchase the burner? You should google it. As mentioned, the burner is sold everywhere. So you can probably find a better price by just googling around. As for the software for the burner, wherever you buy it from, they'll have a link to the software. If not, you can get it here: www.xgecu.com/EN/TL866_MAIN.html
