Very well explained...owning an Honda City and loved to drive as light foot always..so for me ivtec is always preferable...now planing to upgrade to SUV as you said for majburi and due to uneven breakers in my area like mumbai as well with too much traffic...so which one you suggest...CVT or MT..also will be happy if you explain how CVT performs on hills for this elevate.
Thank you so much Sir, For Comments its means alot, based on your answer you can opt for CVT in Elevate but ha agar hills mai zyada jate ho to go for MT only, CVT zyada struggle karega with 5 persons n its difficult during overtakes as well
I agree with Sanchit. If you wanna do more of hills then better go for MT. Elevate is much heavier than Honda City and so you'd have to downshift a lot going up-hill, especially if it's steep. Also, overtaking on hilly roads is a pain, coz of winding roads, and there too, a MT will help.
@@sanchitsaxena Bro what is the use of paddle shifter. If we are going up hills with CVT. They are useful or useless. If they are useless than why companies are providing Paddle Shifter. Is it gimmicks??????
RPM if driver managed not to cross beyond 2000 rpm then mileage would definitely be in range of 14-15 KMPL even with city traffic, its you how you want it to perform on giving the high throttle with higher its takes pickup significantly higher than of lower rpm, ride comfort, road presence, front edges visibility, side turn auto turn on rear view camera, ride comfort, inside leg room, noise proof doors rubber, body panel fit and finish, BODY Roll, door panels, body built, super soft suspension, steering response all are in a one combo in a very decent price, you can move it even with sixth gear in lowest rpm in between 40-50 speed, all such goodness in a One, Honda never disappoints.. purely a practical car no faltu useless features, Honda itself kept the cost to purchase this beautiful machine in a very well balanced approach, Price Features and a pure feel of SUV all in a one COMBO with the least price. Moreover Honda Connect App helps to show the vehicle live location all time from anywhere you want.
Thanks for the very informative video. I have booked Honda Elevate ZX CVT and intend to drive this mostly (almost 90%) in the hills and that too under city traffic conditions. I'm confused if I should switch over to the manual variant as some people have suggested that the MT variant is better for the hills and ADAS could be problematic in such situations. Kindly suggest.
Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back. The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me. I have to wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name. I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range. In my experience, the Grand Vitara is cheap market garbage for such a premium segment of 15-20 lakhs. I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in May 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.
Garg ji based on your mention points on rough roads like this video vehicle performs well. Thats why I highlight these points but as per your needs you can consider NA engine if you want for long run n your running extensively. Consider Turbo if your running is less n mostly on city here are some best NA engines for you under 15 lakhs 1) Brezza compared with Grand Vitara brezza have better aerodynamic so the engine performs well in Brezza 2) Fronx 1.2 And your point is absolutely right that under 15 lakhs or Mid size market is too confusing. If you refer mid size SUVs then NA engines are fail because of bad aerodynamic consider tubro engines or extend your budget n go with pure hybrids. I hope this will help
Bro Seltos has the worst suspension, anything on the road is transferred in the cabin. Grand Vitara/Hyrider has the most comfortable suspension, but suffers from excessive bodyroll. Steering feels disconnected in Creta. Kushaq/Taigun have stiff suspension but handling is on another level. Elevate has a perfect balance of ride and handling. Elevate might feel slightly more louder than Creta, but this can be rectified via sound deadening
No reality or factual condition was told or revealed as clear thud noise was heard when it was driven on rough roads. Not a unbiased, true, honest review
Sir, Clear hisab hai jis product mai dum nhi vo Channel pe nhi...... mai video shoot hi nhi krta asi Cars ki n agar shoot krta hu to Sach hi bolta hu you can refer my last kia Sonet video as well or Hyundai Aura as well.... n Chota Channel hai mera to muje pay bhi kon karega 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sunil Bhai, I am not an expert but thoda bahut Jo maalum hai, I'd say Slavia n Virtus are a different league all together and if you wish to go for 'em, then buy 1.5 wala engine only Between the 1litre engines of those cars, I'd choose Honda (City or Elevate) any day.
Liked d way you reviewed both. You have good articulation 😊 I have a query too, Sanchit. I am a trifle confused between Honda City and Elevate (to buy). The V variant of City has much more features as compared to the V of Elevate. Price too ia almost d same. What wud you suggest? I am not too taken-in by the SUV tag coz i understand none of these are true SUVs... but are, in reality, raised hatchbacks. Right? Though I accept a raised car is a boon in India, especially since most of our roads get waterlogged during rains. Now you know the reason(s) for my confusion 😢 Rajesh K.
Thank you so much For Comments Sir, Totally Agree with your points, you Can Go for city V if you live in Plane City area and kabi kabi Outstation jana hota ho..... but agar aapke yaha water logging or Rough roads hai to its better to Choose Elevate Sir👍
Appreciate your reply, Sanchit. I live in a NCR city. Roads toh rough nahin hain, but baarish mein toh kya Haryana, Punjab or NCR regions, sabhi roads water logged ho hi jaate hain. Also, I do about 4 to 6 outstation trips in an year mostly hills. Honda City drives much more planted, as compared to Elevate. Also, Elevate is heavier, and that impacts mileage (usski zayada problem nahin hai) but it will end up making the vehicle more lethargic compared to Honda City. Lastly, as I said earlier, City has lot more features in V, than Elevate V.... that's why my confusion 😢
@@sanchitsaxena Sanchit, I am totally biased against Maruti. I am of firm belief people who buy Maruti vehicles, are playing with their and their family's life, and for what? Mostly it's mileage. I am so lost with the logic of putting my family's life on the line, just to save a few pennies? I accept these are strong views, but then, these are my views... without meaning any offence to any one 🙏
@@user-xd9pd6nu4t bro agar manual honda city se elevate cvt me switch karna ho toh kya drive quality and engine performance adequate hoga aur manual se cvt me switch karne ke baad kya utna hi fun feel aaega?
hi, i know its a late comment. i was planning for Elevate, i got to know from one of the dealers in Bangalore that there is some kind of issue in the car. anything you felt in your experience driving the car
Bhai, Mera abhi toh remote location main posting Hai but ho sakta 3 Sal bad Mumbai ya kochi ho Jay Elevate ka manual Lena chahiye ya cvt Mujhe personally skoda pasand Hai but family ko elevate pasand aaya Hai. What you recommend. Pl reply
Hi.. I am planning to buy this mannual version. My concern claimed milege is very low as compare to other cars of this segment. So what do you think in actual situation how much it can give in highways and city also
Company claim more milage in CVT rather than MT. Honda cars are super smooth according to others. I have booked CVT today. i would suggest you to take CVT. CVT has more milage than MT.
@@dhirajdhuria4466many say the opposite in real life. The manual is even getting 19kmpl. It depends on the driver's style of driving, the load and terrain.
Saw the elevate only the top model is good , rest all the interiors are too compromised. feels like sitting in 1980 sumo . plastic quality too cheap. everything looks too old . none of the showroom displays other models , went to 3 showrooms at the end had to go to the yard to see the other variants. top model is costly.
Airbag counts do matter, two airbags is the basic norm set by govt. If someone hits you from the side, the curtain airbags will protect your head and not the front ones. If airbags didn't matter, they wouldn't have put them in the first place. Please don't spread misinformation, body shell structure matters but at the end of the day it's the passenger safety. Car jaye bhar mein. And people that buy other cars like GV, Hyryder, Astor, Kushaq or Seltos don't buy with hard earned money right? Just haram ki kamai? Choose your words wisely, unsubscribe!
I understand your point but See Airbags have some conditions n their are many cases in past where airbags were not deployed. That's why I mentioned this that bodyshel needs to be more stronger and as per government noms 1 airbag is mandatory n in city 50 to 55 is maximum limit n on highway 100 to 120 max. N in crash test base variant is tested not top one n most of the manufacturers have 2 airbags in their base trims. I always choose my words wisely Sir baki jasi jiski soch. Thanks 👍
No asea nhi hai elevate have 1.5 L natural aspirated engine only elevate have best in class torque in NA engines in its price point n ivtech is much better in terms of mileage
I drove both Creta facelift SX Tech (MT) and Elevate ZX (MT) the same day. Elevate has really got some cabin noise issues. The noise increases once you cross 85-90kmph. I mean you can’t expect so much noise for a brand new car. It can be considered if the car is 3-4 years old. This cabin noise is a total deal breaker for me.
You guys are right in your comments but then, let us appreciate the effort put in by Sanchit. If course, in his age, he cannot be absolutely bang-on on every assessment comment of his. Let's learn to give thoda sa leeway to people and accept a few gaps (if at all there are any) 😊
Dada my facts & Concepts are already Clear, First of all during Highway runs vehicle already on higher rpm & Speed,at that time CVT Belt mai expand hoti hai .... ye wear n tear hai Sir, and CVT Transmissions ko agar zyada Highways pe use karte hai to iski Shelf life kam hoti hai...... CVT is only made for City Driving with the help of infinite gears it provides smooth drive
@@sanchitsaxena I test drove a Honda elevate running under 2000 rpm at 90 kmph. Something I learned about CVTs today. Ive also learned there is more wear n tear from stop n go & that is why Toyota CVTs offer 1st gear n then CVT takes over (which I would've liked on a Honda too)
1:54 bhai woh logic se fir top model bhi kyun hi dena jarurat hi nahi toh? 😂 sirf top model walon sirr safe rahega side impact mein? and thode kum paise walon ka nahi? Matlab kuch bhi sehan karke justify karne ki adat ho gayi hai hame 🤣🤣🤣
Nhi nhi Bro justify nhi kr raha ye batane ki koshish kr raha hu ki Car ke Crash test ke time pe Base Variant test hota hai.... n City already have 4 star hai.....
