Awesome. Ours has been working great for over 2 years now.

From what we have experienced, from the 30 Amp / 220 Volt side of the generator, will run both ACs, but both AC units cannot start at the same time. You'll need to srart one and give it a couple of minutes before starting the second one.

Bought it on sale 3 years ago. They have gone up a lot since then.

Platform is solid and working great. Got the trailer jacks from www.trailer.com. They are weld on.

Doesn't seem to be. We run it with the wheels up on the back of the truck and there is no vibration. It has pretty good cushioned motor mounts.

We have a custom cable that goes into the 240 side of the generator. I created a cable consisting of a plug into the generator that is a male 30 AMP 125/250 Volt. The cable is a 4/C 10 AWG weather resistant. The plug going into the fifth wheel is a female 50 AMP 125/250 Volt. For the 50 AMP female plug, you can use whatever configuration you have on the power cable from your fifth wheel.

No, it does not need to be portable. But...if you ever have to have the truck towed from the rear end, you would have to remove it and it weighs about 300 pounds. If I have to park the truck some place else in the campground, I can still have the generator with me if needed. Also, provides distance for the noise when running, although super quiet. Also, I use it for other projects and it just gives me more options and flexibility. Keep in mind, that your license plate really needs to be exposed too. :)

Are you wanting to know how tall it is from the ground sitting on the platform on the hitch (no wheels) to the top of the generator? or from the bottom of the platform to the top of the generator? or from the top of the platform to the top of the generator?

@@WattsOnWheels Hey there I to am curious about the height of your generator. Not sure if you still have this generator… But would love to know the height from the bottom of the generator to the top of the generator. There is zero information about this online regarding the height without wheel kit.

It is 24" from bottom to top of handle

Watts On Wheels I installed a micro air 364 easy start 364 installation kit for RV rooftop ACs. Now my AC’s work great with my 7000is. I have 13k and 15k BTU ACs.

Hard to get any savings today with fuel costs. We really like our solar panels now.

@@WattsOnWheels ammortize your investment in solar panels and compare to total cost's of ownership. biofuels can be made for free , or even make a profit off of creating them. dig deeper into what those panels are made of .
