Very nice and informative. This helps me better understand how these work. I purchased a 2008 trx500 Foreman Fourtrax with a manual transmission. All gears work except third. What diagnostic steps can one take to insure it is just the third gear and not something else?...simple? Looks like a tear down and a complete over haul is in my future. Thanks for any guidance and I'm open to any pointers from anyone.
You should be using a torque wrench to tighten bolts in aluminum holes. Impacts are bad for stripping threads and so is not using the proper torque wrench.
the manual does not mention the bushing oil holes. When I took my 420 apart I checked the outside transmission gear bushing and the holes were not inline and this transmission has 750 hours on it and it still looks fine.
He cambiado planta, CDI, captor de pulsos, bobina y bujía y aún así mi Fourtrax 450 año 2005 no arranca, no hay chispa en bujía, el tablero no da señal que podrá ser
