In this video, I walk through the steps and tools required to modify the rear door opening on a 2nd Generation Honda Ridgeline (2017) to allow a wider opening. An issue on the early years of Gen.2 is that the rear doors do not open very wide and are restrictive when entering or loading in the rear passenger area. This requires replacing the "door stops" or "door checks" with ones made for the front door. This adds about 5 extra inches of swing according to my measurement.
