love how in the first minute, at like 30ish seconds, you can see where someone missed the breaking point and went into the ditch. This is raw stuff, sick!
Cutting the yellow is really only doable when you either have a totally clear view to the exit, or it's dark-dark. Still, I do think using a bit more road and a smoother line can be safer than some of these abrupt transitions. Different people have different preferences. I know my driving buddy is a fan of the abrupt transitions, tighter radius, and sharp divide between straights and corners. "Exciting" would be his description too. I prefer to flow the turns together, hitting limit grip only at the apex. That ends up using both lanes, but doesn't upset the chassis, which feels much more comfortable to me. However, I have it on authority that turning off the headlights for 0.5 seconds to check for lights while braking in the left lane can be "disconcerting" to those in the passenger seat.
@@therunners585 Very nice, I live in socal so my go-to canyons are anything near malibu/PCH. I've always wanted to visit tail of the dragon in my miata.
Really appreciate the sub and the kind words. I am trying to create content that I would want to watch and that I feel is lacking on youtube. I'm definitely blown away by the postive response to the videos. More videos to come soon. Thanks again.
Hey ! I loved the video , this reminds me of when my brother took me in my s2000 to the mountains. It was one of the best experiences. How the car feels turning corners. Although I’m still pretty bad at manual, driving it is one of the best experiences to have .
Thank you so much. Really appreciate the kind words. If I get enough subs I might think about getting that foot cam. At the moment I am working with 3 different cameras which is quite time consuming. It would be awesome though. Thanks again for watching.
hi, the bumper camera is aweome! Looks a 100 % like in a video game. The interior camera position is also best ive seen yet. Can feel the speed and the feel of the car. And the driving is superb. Not reclassly but fun level.
@@therunners585 thank YOU! I recognise it if someone puts effort into something and I think its important to mention and apreciate it. Not just to watch it and to move on.
Love this so much! If you don't mind me asking what mic did you use and where did you put it? The audio sounds great and you can hear tire noise which I like.
@The Runners Got a sub from me! Will be watching. A follow up question though, what were you using to record audio? I am asking because I am going to try and replicate the same setup 😂
🙁 I miss driving the s2000 on roads like this. No I live in Houston and having an S 2000 out here is like having a big dog with no backyard. I feel bad for it.
Your S2K sounds amazing dude, the VTEC crossover is really pronounced. Sounds like a cold air intake and Mugen exhaust to my ear but I’m biased because that’s my AP1 setup. Are you running stock suspension or do you have Ohlins? You seem to have the snap oversteer relatively under control lol.
@@therunners585 damn, that’s just a testament to the S2000’s engineering. Your car really doesn’t sound stock - you must’ve put the mic in the engine bay or something then because it sounds nuts for a stock S2K lol.
what state do you live inn bro, i go for nightruns all the time but iam yet to make a video. now im going to :) we have the same scenery, car and hobby.. man i enjoyed this. stay awesome stay safe
Consider getting a 360 action cam. Hell reach out to a few companies and see if they would send you one for “review” Search tsuchi for a reference to the type of set up to run with a 360 cam
@@therunners585 for sure man! I just picked up a 2022 Civic SI, thing is like on rails. prior to that I had a 2013 BRZ for 2 years before losing my job lollll there's a road up by me north of boston that's really similar to this, might grab a camera and take it for a spin!
i aint no proffesional so i probably dont have the rights to teach you shit, but one advice i have for you is if you want to have the best times be as smooth as possible. Try to run with the flow if you understand what i mean
