@tuningbynick be careful you don't wash out your rings! How is the engine holding up since this mod? Check your oil for dilution ,being thinned with gas it won't last long.
All your videos are great basic info tools into kpro. I been playing with it for 10yrs. Any other tuning tips on cam angle would be awesome. That’s only table I can’t feel changes I make. Thanks for vids
Make sure you do the Type S oil pump on that k24a2! And don’t use the 50* VTC gear, it can cause valve train damage, get a 45* gear from HPT auto sport.
You can electronically limit the VTC cam angle in Kpro. Or inline pro sells a mechanical limit kit for the VTC gear. You can mechanically limit it at 30-40-45 or 50 I believe.
Nice and simple explanation, great video as always. I've got a BuddyClub Race Header into a Thermal 3in, and at 5800/5900, (-10° actual timing), I had to add 700 units of fuel to get even the tiniest flame. Without real ign cut it feels so wrong to type "750 units of fuel" even if the actual change isnt that extreme it makes me feel like I'm commanding the Exxon Valdez to dump into my cylinders
@@tuningbynick I'm also thinking my cams are coming into play as to how much fuel is making it into/out of the bottom end. After playing around 850 gave me what I think is pretty close to what you showed in the video. I guess though, if I really want to build boost after finishing the turbo setup I'll buy an MSD or do the relay setup
For the cat part, i have an EP2 in which i put a Bee*R. has a cat, 2 launches later, didnt have one. the stone came out the rear lol. but its fun, will k swap it somewhat soon tho
@Tuning by Nick I tried these settings on my K24a swaped rsx. For some reason when I floor it the revlimit is flat. It works a little better at half throttle, any suggestions?

Hey just got kpro back, do they send it back with the immobilizer deleted? Cars not getting spark and was hoping immobilizer was maybe still on. Do I have to plug it in before it’ll start? Ecu from different a3
I sent my launch control on my Ep3 using kprov4 kprov4 exactly to these settings. But it still revs all the way to stock limiter for some reason. Any ideas or tips?

Is there any preventitive maintenance for when doing a 2 step with a flame map on it? Like what breaks when doing this. Should i be using fuel cleaner more often? Should i be checking sparkplugs often?
Just a quick question, something I thought of as a "oh shit what of a newbie tried this" K Pro has the -20° limit as far as I know encoded throughout, is the hard limit still there if someone for example saw your video and goes "okay 60 degrees in this box" but had for example 20 degrees in their timing map.. you see where I'm going g I'm sure. Is it still going to limit to -20 degree overall actual timing?
@@tuningbynick Ah ok, I guess the max you can toss into a given field is Minus 20° (except the Launch Control field I suppose). I thought it went to -20°but that it was displayed on the "Display" window as a max of -10° due to a conversion or something. I've never actually logged the timing when messing around with the Burble tune or 2 Step. Thanks for your help. Also do you have any KPro datalogs of your car.youd be willing to share/compare? Or I can email you. I'm curious to see what our targets look like as far as tuning Bolt on K Series on Pump, and theres way too many variables to ask you about here. My car makes great power for what it is, just a curiosity thing. I stayed extremely conservative on my knock counts and basically revised till I count eek any more out, BUT I know theres a ton of different methods to make power and I'm coming for a 100% FI mindset not a NA and variable cam thought process.

I have a Hondata s300 which might be slightly different and I don't know if you'll be able to find out what's wrong but when I hit 2-step it only reads -3 ign and I have the settings at 700 fuel and -70 ign making 4-8lbs of boost.. it sounds like it pops good but there's no flames or loud pops I don't know what I'm doing wrong if you how to fix this or anything I have the datalog if youre willing to help or look further into it. Ps keep up with the tuning vids it helps out a lot
Tuning by Nick I’ve tried that and just kept decreasing but is the ign suppose to read like that because I’ve went from -70 to -90 ign on the 2-step settings but on the data log graphs going to -90 from -70 only made it go from -2 to -4 which is confusing me
Yes and no - Technically this is nothing special and can be done on any engine, what determines if you can do it it is the tuning software. A lot of other brands cant be tuned as easily as these cars
@@tuningbynick i do have a question when I floor it my rev limiter/ launch control doesn't sound as stable as yours it get really erratic and goes up and down like the way yours is in the video sounds like a single tone every hit mine just sounds weird
@@marlo916 i've got the 2 step on my car as a launchcontrol. 2step literally means you have 2 steps in the revlimiter, the factory limiter, and the second (2) limiter set as you like.. I've set it like this: rev to the wanted revs, short tap on the brakes and the limiter is set. I can lower the limiter also, but if i want it set higher, ive got to cut the ignition and restart
