You got a sub! I've been looking at getting either a Ryker or a Spyder and was more leaning towards a spyder for the better ride but these upgrades are very interesting and informative to my choices I appreciate it.
What you say about the results of changing the end links doesn't match my personal experience. I bought a 2019 Ryker a couple of months ago with less than 10,000 miles on it, and it wandered all over the road on any sort of rough pavement. Frankly, it scared me. Replacing the factory end links made an easily noticeable difference. It increased the speeds at which I felt comfortable by at least five miles per hour, depending on the road. And then changing the sway bar itself added about another five miles an hour. I now casually go 55 or 60 mph on the same roads that used to worry me at 45 mph.... I don't know whether the factory original plastic links flexed or not. But the bolt swivels on them were so stiff I had to clamp the links in a vice and shove a bar through the swivels to move them around. In contrast, the swivels on the replacement end links could be easily wiggled with the tip of my little finger.
@@troystallard6895 hmmm... interesting.. in general if all is corectly mounted and you have factory links, the difference of changing to aluminium is 0. I stay behind what i say. If there was some structural damage caused to oem, of course there may be the difference. I dont sell just links on my shop for ryker neither spyder as i know it does not work 🤷♂️ Damper upgrade is game changer 😉
@@MartinTheVlogger Regardless of what you may 'know' and tell the world, I stand by my personal experience with end links on a low-mileage Ryker in excellent condition. And I'm not an overly-imaginative person; the improvement was very real.
Yer im not sold yet. New owner . Relax your shoulders and elbows , shift your butt a little if needed round corners. Suspension will deal with pot holes just fine . Btw many bikes in the past . 56yr old / young
@@MartinTheVlogger you're right. I was only able to find one retailer here, $279 US so I guess it's equal there. The brackets are $150 US. Keep up the great work!
Any way to get the YSS dampener by itself without the brackets here in the US? The Matris dampener from RykerMod blew on me, and now it’s locked up. I’m looking to replace it with something reliable, and the Ohlins is just way too expensive.
Totally agree with you on the choice between damper and swaybar! I did put the universal damper from ryker mods on my bike and it does have a an adjustment. The adjustment is a dial on the end of the cylinder barrel. Oh by the way thanks for putting the racing one on Le Mans for me😂😂😂😂😂
HI Martini no offence the story gets even better 1st thank you for telling me about nanny I just have 80 miles on the 2022 can am spyder rt limited did not test drive her before purchase. the electric trike that is on my page I build from a brain idea I had to go fast 0 to 60 14 years old. SHE is out of service for now due to splitting the TRUSS frame design in half. Due to the amount of instant torque. This was the reason for the spyder purchase . with that said I get the spyder and totally feel like a NANNY SO I decided to do some home work and found the 2022 can am f3 uses a 89 teeth rear pully as well the same pitch belt so I bought a new belt part 705502157 and the 89 teeth pully part705502187 should be a direct swap from looking at the parts manuals of both bikes . never the less what other people say the parts are not swapable. I believe the only thing that stans in the way is NANNY SO with your blessing I will be swapping the two front sensors to the rear for a total of 3 for the rear tire. If this goes well then I would swap the tire to a one inch lower profile. SA of now the dealers keep shipping me the wrong part number pulleys and they swear up and down part number from BRP mean nothing. BUT from my studies the rear rim and front pully as well as the belt accept for length of the belt are the same for the 2 bikes. SO this is what speed will do to a person make u crazy.
Joseph, you are trully a crazy guy. Please here is my email martinthevlogger@gmail.com and pls keep me inforned. Many things can be done even some say its not possible. My beast its great example. I have 6pistons brakes with bigass double layer rotors etc. Where is the will there is tge way. I know about possibility to change the sprocket and number of wheels as its comon to have different in europe etc. I think what is really wrong with RT20+ its the map itself...bYke its very very limited due to nature of 99% of custoners of RT. So playing around ECU flash can be solution. But here is another issue... brp chnges the ecu very often and you can fry it to death.. :((( and its not very cheap to get new ecu
