Honestly, I think the F & F movies are incredibly progressive the way they adventerously give under-represented groups a chance to do high profile Hollywood work. Allowing 7 year olds to write the scripts. Amazing!

But let’s be honest, if you were in his shoes, a famous celebrity making movies and China being the place where it’s market makes MASSIVE amounts of money for your movie, and you unintentionally saying something that could possibly hurt your career moving forward, would you REALLY say no apologizing? At the end of the day, it’s nothing personal... It’s strictly business. Don't get me wrong, it sucks that he has to apologize to China because they said Taiwan is not a country. But again, if you were in his shoes, what are you gonna do?

7 is where they should have ended IMO. Ever since 8, most of the action and story were off. Like F5-7 are ridiculous but not comically ridiculous because they don't mask a lot of it with CGI. F8 onwards have this weird smoothness/CGI effect to the action scenes, it ruins almost every practical stunt the series have done until now (Yes even F9 uses practical, all ruined by CGI)

And they fake his death with the accidental help of Shaw, nope, not the little Shaw, the big Shaw that then goes on to team up with Hobbs. While many think that this franchise is dumb, I honestly think that it's amazingly smart. They genuinely want to be a silly, over-the-top action flicks and have fun with it. They don't pretend, they don't try too hard. And it's this franchise's strong point. This is how honesty works in movie industry. Do things you actually could do. Don't try to lie to the audience. Give them what they actually want, not what they think they want.

F10- go back in time. F11- go sideways. Into parallel timelines/multiverse. F12- after the multiverse, go to adjacent dimensions. F13- go back in time and race with the megalodons underwater to save them from extinction. F14- race into the sun to prevent the splitting of the helium into H2. Cinemasins puts in lazy effort even when it's low hanging fruit. The dings are just put for anything there now. Pitch meetings are better for breaking down the failed logic of a movie than CinemaSins.
