This song still slaps for me!!! It takes me back to a much happier and peaceful time in my life!!! The 80's were my favorite decade!!! I came of age and had a great time and it was a much different and more innocent time for me!!! I wish I had a time machine so I could go back to that time and stay there!!! I really hate the world that exists today!!!

One of the most underrated albums of the entire 80s

It’s a crime these guys are not along the Canada Walk of Fame. The airtime they get is INSANE. Just saw them live and they STILL got it. Amazing band.

I remember being in the Navy in the 80's Virginia Beach was awesome. The girls looked just like that, beautiful no tattoos or tackle box faces. Just pure beauty with the wind blowing on the beach. Those were the best years.

"Wave Babies" is one of those songs that puts me in an exact place in an exact time in my life...on the beach on a hot summer's day, taking in the scenery with my buddies and living a carefree life. I wish I had a time machine, but my favorite music is almost as great! Honeymoon Suite are still fire and slammin' all these years later!

It reminds me of the year 1984. My Favorite Year of the 80's back when I was in My early 20's and a lot happier.

I’ve only recently realized how fortunate I was to be growing up as a kid in Toronto in the 80s. This album was on the radio a lot as I first gained consciousness. It’s given me a very eclectic taste in music and I can’t believe how many good tracks this band made.

Ahh the '80's...very lovely, tattoo free ladies and awesome, fun music and gloriously cheesy vids...outstanding! Caught their show completely by chance at Canada's Wonderland in Ontario, while I was visiting...the crowd was 75% women, good times!

Saw these guys more than once at Kingswood at Canada’s Wonderland late 80’s early 90’s… a much simpler time.

Watched them film the lighthouse scenes and them playing instruments on the rocks, my grandparents owned the lighthouse (Salmon Point lighthouse)as well as the property around it which was also a campground I was 12 years old at the time. Great memories

I love everything about this song. Always makes me happy and puts me in a good mood. It is so incredibly 80s and just hits the vibe right. Love the sound. The outro with the synth and guitar is just a cherry on top. This one always gets cranked to 11….just like every other Honeymoon Suite song. Got to see them live in 2017 opening for Foreigner. They were so good they should have been the headliner.

Jesus, this takes me BACK. This and DLR's cover of California Girls were a couple of most-loved music videos for young teen boys in the 80s... Before the internet provided all that porn, this was the best a pubescent adolescent could get to scratch that itch until that "first real girlfriend" would come along... and for some of us that took a loooong time. And sadly for many others, it would never happen at all. I'd say the most melancholy thing about this (and DLR's) video is how this is how hot young women USED to look. Before all the plastic surgery, and especially before all "woke" culture bullshit. I wonder how these women look today? How many gained weight, how many got saggy, lol, and how many actually held it together and still look damn fine? No judgment,s just curious. I gotta wonder about the "California Girls" ; The Cali Girls of the 80s were definitely an ideal... but today, in "current year"? I doubt it... I bet most look like... men... or at least "identify" as one. I miss the 80s. When women were women and men were men, gays were gays and straights were straights, with the occasional bisexual, and only once in a blue moon did "chicks with dicks" or "dudes with boobs" turn up. We called those "trans-sexuals", and most didn't dick around (no pun intended) with their "metamorphosis" ; they decided they were the wrong sex and they committed to it : they got the surgery and that was it. Done deal. None of this "gender fluid" shit that changed their "identity" with their mood or the outfit they wore that day. No perverts slapping on a dress and lipstick and calling themselves a woman demanding to get access to the ladies rooms. Perverts had the good sense to stay hid in the shadows and gutters where they belong. Simpler times. Better times. I miss the 80s.
