awesome video! I want to do that this year. With all the fish you caught do you just freeze them like that? Or do you actaully remove the guys and clean them first- then freeze theem? Also, how do you guys eat them? I never tried this fish. Thanks!!

just rinse the fish and then freeze, no need to gut them out

How

steam the fishes in the oven in tinfoil tray, put all the natural herbs, spices and peppers, same stuff you put in laab. add beef paste, curry paste, oil chili paste, cover the tray with aluminum sheet, steam for 40plus mins until you can clearly smell the yummy scent. the juice is good as well as the meat if cooked right

Net definitions and regulations are really weird in Alaska. That cast net one guy had is technically illegal in 20 mile/Turnagain Arm but would be legal in salt waters of Seward (but also not in Whittier a few miles North). Dipping pinks in PWS is supposedly legal but not in Whittier's passage canal. And don't get me started on Kenai regs where rules change seemingly every other foot.
