Stephanie honey, you really need to have your shoulder looked at, cause it's not getting any better in fact it seems to be getting worse, and I worry about you. I agree chickens love roosting at night they need tree limbs or dowel rods or 1x1 boards works put them at corners of the chicken pens

Hiya ...when your were showing your garden I was wondering if it's too late to sow sunflower seeds where you are ...it would be a good project for kaysen ..he could grow his own chicken feed ..just grab a hand full of the black sunflower seeds and plant them

Hello Stephanie. Please have your shoulder taken care of. It is not good for you to be in pain all the time! Sometime it can get worse if not taken care of. All the animals are looking good. Go to the doctor for your arm .They may be able to give you a steroid injection that will take the inflammation out and give it a chance to heal and making the pain go away.

You can buy arm slings at most pharmacies. Will take the weight of your arm of your shoulder. Praying for you.

Do you guys keep a first aid kit? On a farm its really important,shouid keep a sling in there,most basic kits come with one anyway.

Hey with showtime she could drink 6 bottles a day you guys are doing great but she is extremely skinny another thing has she been wormed and for the puppy I know it’s hard but I would pull her aside by herself to eat but you guys are doing a great job especially just learning as you go so don’t take it the wrong way I was just trying to help keep up the good work we love watching your family

Hey Steph, you might consider getting your shoulder looked at. I’ve been through surgery more than once and learned you can get what’s called frozen shoulder from not moving it because of the pain, it was explained it’s worse than ever to get better if that happens.

Steph, take care of your arm. Go see a doctor and get into some pt before it ends up getting worse by not using it. Drink plenty of water, too, to help with healing. I know with most insurances, you can have 30 days of PT before you go to a doctor. If it doesn't help then they will recommend a doc visit. Feel better soon.

I'm in pain just watching you in pain. Can you make a sling to hold up your arm? I had a sprain once and then took one of my hubby's old t-shirts cut the sleeves off and one side seam and then folded it in a triangle and tied the long ends together at the back of my neck. And viola! I had a sling.

Stephanie I have back pain a long with knee effusion (water on the knee) which is very painful and I use DMSO> (yes its for dogs and other animals) , it only takes a small aamount ona finger> you will be shocked as how fast that it works.

Hi Steph, I realize I am 3-4 days behind right now but what happened with your shoulder? Your farm is looking really good! You have all been so busy doing a lot of work & have come a long ways. Have you all tried to to give the chickens some grass along with the feed? Just have the kids pull a couple of hands full for each pen for a change? Steph, I am sure you have a rotator cuff injury. Everything you mention sounds like what I went through. And you did likely injure it when you fell. Mine was hurt when I was broadside in a car accident and did not hVe pin until 3 weeks later. An MRI confirmed it. Please have your doctor order one.
