I am a HUGE Hopsin fan, and usually love everything he puts out. This was not the track for me. I was not really a fan of the style he used and I get that there is a huge audience for it and I KNOW people love it. But for me personally, it's not the Hopsin I know. Still excited for the new album and possibly the next ill mind.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is my interpretation of this video and song. People here are claiming Hopsin is now sold out, because he's wearing 'swag' clothes such as backpacks for fashion and bucket hats like trap artists such as Soulja Boy and any other mainstream rapper. He is also so called using a 'Trap Beat'. A lot of people have said this song sounds very mainstream and may go against what hopsin usually raps about, but you need to look closely. The fact that the title of this song is 'Crown Me' and the chorus 'gimme that crown' 'gimme that shit' sounds like he's demanding it. The most famous rappers who are usually dubbed the 'king of rap' such as drake etc are the same rappers we all see as whack, which Hopsin raps about. This entire video could just be parodying them and his way of asking, 'now that I'm dressed that way and using a beat like them, can I be dubbed as the king?'. This could all be a load of shit and if you disagree right a reply.
