lol shit he is a real rapper, others "wanna be" rappers suck ass and half of them don't even sing in their music video so plz don't say hopsin isn't a real rapper.
"If you don't get rid of the wrong friends, you will never meet the right friends" 8 years later and this is still one of the greatest quotes I've ever heard.
+Darrell George (godzillafiend54) Thats Daylyt , check out his battles. Hes got bars, plus hes hilarious he does some fucked up shit during battles lol
@FunSunSet stop encouraging these corny comments. Who's here. I'm black, im white, I still like this song. Like if you agree. Don't be corny. Be a man
This song was a big ass deal back when it came out. My jaw hit the floor when he said the line “good luck Jarren, Dizzy, Hopper, SwizZz, I’m going solo”
Same Man. I miss what those boys could produce together. DJ Hoppa has his Hop and Friends 3 coming soon it’d be sweet to see a reunion track by doubt it. Jarren and Dizzy seem to be on good terms and SwizZz I can’t get a read on but he’s still trying to buzz without dropping an album. David really fucked the whole future of Funk Volume, song goes hard but the more the years pass the more I’m like damn..
How would you ever know with "spectrum" though. Be thankful for the wrong friends too. They have shown you a contrast so you can truly understand the "good side".
Was in the hospital waiting on my first daughter to be born and this dropped. It got me so hyped! And a couple hours later my baby girl was in my arms 🥰 was a great day 🙏🏻
Still my favorite artist of all time. I always go back and listen to all Hopsin collection. His flow is the best there is in my opinion. Just wish we got some more music more often.
For all those to came here after Em, welcome. Ignore the people who get butthurt about you only finding Hopsin after someone bigger. I’m just glad he’s getting the recognition he deserves and growin his fanbase
Emile Joseph yes exactly, I respect you so much. Thanks, those mad people should know em respects hospin, and hospin respects eminem. They will collab one day and destroy mumble rap. Add joyner, add logic add the reap ones. Edit* I'm glad my favorite rapper mentioned my second favorite rapper
I seen Hopsin open for Yelawolf 3 years ago and he was flowing while crowd surfing, lol. I did come here from Kamikaze, Anyone Em shouts out props too, I will aswell.
Hello there, I really like your comment! Hopsin has been 1 of my favorite rappers since I found him back in 2011. When I'm feeling down, the lyrics and emotion in his music has always comforted me! With all the chaos going on this year, I hope you're hanging in there and trying to make the most of things...TBH, even back around June 2020, I was fed up with the way things were going. So I started writing 130 lines of lyrical poetry, and at the end of August, I video recorded myself reciting it. It's acapella, no beat, and I called it "2020 Venting Session" If you have a few minutes sometime and would like to hear my honest views on society, here's a link to my video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3Kxp1d0eByY.html If you don't check it out, I won't be offended! No worries! I wish you all the best regardless :)
@@Jeddykin No, sorry... it wasn't HIS label. It was a project he worked on with his brother when his brother introduced him to Dame because Ritter had just been thru business school and they all thought because he knew the business side of things(which is definitely different than the business side of rap/hiphop) he would the the perfect guy to handle that side of it so they worked out percentages(which was a mistake) and that's where it started to go wrong. But FV was never just Hopsin's label/company. He was a partner in it. Which made him able to write what he wrote and do what he did after things were not communicated right and done right by him. Both explain it all recently when they met to discuss it all and put it behind them. I suggest you check it out on FVs channel. It's worth the watch eventhough it's 4 or 5 parts long if not more. I still think it was the right move and UP is going places. Hop is way too dedicated to music and hard working to let it fail. #StayUP
@@gicueN17R0 Yes, you're right there, but Hopsin founded the label, he got Dame Ritter to co-partner with him (to manage all the artist etc), i was right and wrong to a degree. But I shall check out the doc on FV channel. And definitely agree with UP going places
Hopsin is so underrated! He should have over 100 million views on each video! He always makes a beautiful art piece out of dark and painful truthful things that have happened to him in his life.
This song helped me leave my abusive ex lol. I didn't realise it until now. I would listen to it everyday and the last bit, it's been 5 years now, after 10 years of not being allowed to talk to anyone, I've met so many beautiful souls, just this year alone. Thank you for pushing me to change how everything was
I've been listening to Hopsin for years, and for all the people just now discovering him bc of eminem ya'll are in for a treat this man here is one of the greatest!!! Enjoy this real music!
Just lost a friend and had to come back to the end of this song, such a truth of life. Dont settle for less than you deserve with the people around you. Be willing to move on when the time is right. Dont let people test you and make you feel like shit. Surround yourself with better people
I always keep coming back to the end advice of the song! It is wisdom that transcends every generation! The instrumental, the deep voice. Everything about it was so epic!
Hopsin is such a handsome and talented dude!! I love this song. Hopsin gets some love but I really feel he is underrated and deserves a lot more love and appreciation than he gets. I don't think I have ever heard a Hopsin song I didn't like.
"Wya" isn't a word, "def hoping" means nothing because it isn't anything, and "a holidays" makes no sense because "a" is singular and "holidays" is plural. It's either "a happy holiday" or "happy holidays."
@@fyou2327 Damn I didn't know Nazis still existed on this level. You a commanding officer Grammer Nazi? Wya is "Where you at", Def hoping is "I definitely hope", and a holidays is you just being a prick. Who tf cares about this shit but you? This isn't a master degree level English class, calm tf down and get off his dick.
CHANGE TO BE A BETTER PERSON. CHANGE TO BE THE LIGHT IN OTHER PEOPLE LIFE. IT'S NEVER TO LATE TO CHANGE. CHANGE CAN HURT SOMETIME. ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR NOT ALONE. Blessings, love and light to all that read this! Always protect your light in and out of change. Thank you Hopsin for spitting Hot 🔥 with a power message at the end!
PaleDale I doubt this has anything to do with any of it, but maybe bc Hopsin isn't corrupted by the fame and all the money and everything , maybe that's why his lyrics are so real , and all the others just say hoes and drugs and weed and cars. I doubt it , but it could be
This has to be the best Label Ending Ever it was so bitter sweet. Funk volume was my favorite rap group and probably always will be. Hopsin is THE GOAT and it sucks they couldn’t stick together but everything happens for a reason. I’m jus happy to say that I was able to watch and be apart of it from the beginning to the End you jus had to be there😈🔥💯
Personally my favourite line ever from Hop is; “When I deliver the penis it lies in the mouth, she call it Pinochio” but hey, to each their own I guess
I would love to see a behind-the-scenes of this 😂 Great acting from everyone, really. And I absolutely love how the bailiff is rockin' an NBA armband. Because you know that's exactly how they feel. Very cool message that stood out to me.
@@underground4life694 shut the f up with pac. No offence. But rap then is nothing similar to this generations rap. Can we stop comparing old and new rap PLEASE
Dizzy Wright & Jarren Benton right up that alley. Dizzy snaps on Why You Do Me Like That & Jarren on Don’t Need You talking bout this same shit. All these guys slept on.
I was trying to remember a song I heard years ago and came across Hop today.. won a follow thank you. The flow, creativity, the verses.. yeah nice work, keep it up
The fact that most of this is performed without contacts is symbolic. This isn't a song by Hopsin. This is a song by Marcus. Very well thought out and carefully crafted video. Dude is a genius.
He used to be understated but now he ain't, this song has 83mil views that ain't underated Ppl like kid bookie are way more underated and arguably just as good
Yes sir and i aint no snitch, but im throwing this guy in the ditch. Your honor its time for some horror and lots of disorder, we've reach at the border and now this is over, homie game over.
@@darkin1484 homie game over You threw a pebble and I threw a boulder He just stoner he ain't got no friends he a loner I want my cash and I'm going ti sue My heads split in two I don't know what ti do
@@cashclubz3179 Don't know what to do, Judge all this stuff was happenin' now I'm telling it to you, all I'm tryna do is get my point across, dude Not even trying to be rude But this man has put too much weight on my shoulders, i can't hold 'em Game over
Em got me here not gonna lie, but Hopsin is fire, 7th song I've listened to in 24 hours. The best advertising a rapper can get is for Shady to say your name in a song....
"Fuck you bitch you get no respect This is why hop is coming for you next, Bless all you care about is making money, you dont care about a fucking soul tho"
Civilized Delinquent if you don't know you won't know. That was joel olsteen aka the asshole who passed the offering basket to hurricane victims who he was reluctant to even let in.
Hopsin, I know you'll probably never even see this comment, but I just have to put my sincere thanks out to you for this song which so clearly expresses so much of what I've been saying to a lot of others for a very long time. But you do it a helluva better than I ever did!😉 Thanks, friend!!❤
I was lost in the woods the other night and i had nothing with me except for my phone so i just played this song on my it and it kept me warm for the night
