Love playing this game on Very Hard. Makes such a difference. Edit: Now waiting on Ultra Hard with NG+ Dont think there is a date for it yet though. Last one came out like 3 months after HZD initial release.
i tried this and my irl stamina ran out before the Thunderjaw's health did 🥲 my thumbs hurt. these Apex machines are so beefy compared to the normal ones i'm both scared and excited for the UH difficulty
If they really wanted to make a Thunderjaw hard, it could spend all of its time trying to stomp you, never giving you a break. But that would be a pretty frustrating fight. Still, if there were mechanics that allowed you to get away and reapproach, that might be interesting.
I'm tempted to flag this video for machine abuse: you took that poor Thunderjaw apart piece by piece then finished him off. xD But I guess it shows that compared to some of the new machines in Forbidden West, the Thunderjaw feels like a bit of a pushover now.
You should remove the lazer cannons on the side of the thunderjaw's head and be able to use it as a heavy weapon like the disc launcher Or can you do that already
You probably should have been shooting at the Radar on it's back instead of it's eyes once the front guns were removed. EDIT - Nevermind, you eventually did. Lol took ya long enough. You also weren't really aiming for the Nexus on it's head tho even after it was exposed. You had many clear shots at it but instead were aiming for it's face & I don't get why.
the face is actually a weak point, particularly the eyes (lens). it's not highlighted in the focus as a weakness but from HZD, it was something Rost teaches you at the beginning of the game and remains true for all the machines even in HFW. So aiming for the face is just as good as aiming for the Nexus
@@chelseaestebat1121 Yeah but the Nexus is a FAR bigger & easier to hit target, and you do a lot more damage when you hit it vs the eyes. No matter how ya look at it, it made no sense to keep aiming for the face when it's Nexus was right above it.
Not really all that special considering you're using the Legendary Hunter Bow & it's fully upgraded. Those shots are still pretty decent specially w Triple Notch. Nice dodging & aiming tho, you are a skilled player. Do it with the starting Hunter Bow & I'll be impressed :)
