I discovered today that if you lay all of your traps (tripwire, blast bombs etc.), when you are inspecting the defences, they will still be there when you fight the final boss Deathbringer. Managed to kill it within two minutes!

im 160 in, and i struggle to find time to play some nights. work and family consume my life, but the time i get with aloy, feels good. ps, im a day one player and am almost ready to finish the main story. adulting sucks. this game does not.

There are 500 hours...not 900...is a difference. but even so...i think that there are a lot of passionate people in this world which like to put a lot of their time in their hobbies. I know people that plays 12h a day mobile phone games... PS games shouldnt be a problem.

I'm using the DLC weapons with a bunch of good mods using this farming method. 2 freeze with champion bow then 2 hardpoint with the striker bow to the soft spot and it's done. I've been using 3 hardpoint lately just in case one is off. I switched from hard to easy since I'm stocking up before ultra hard.

Honestly its impressive what these players can do because of their strong perseverance. I too am hunting thunderjaws for the best mods (I can kill 1-2 Thunderjaws a minute btw) but I don't think I would spend hours and hours doing the same thing just to be the richest player and have the best mods. I'm more of an action and story focused kind of player but I won't lie that I love a good challenging fight once in a while. Also I am super hyped for this game's DLC.

I respect that this player got so many shards by taking down machines. However, I could get that many shards, and more, by farming the area where the Shell-Walker containers are. There, I don't even have to fight any machines, and it takes me 30 seconds to gather all the loot, reset and then gather the loot again in the containers. I can get 15000 shards Within 15 minutes.

You may have misunderstood me. I think everyone should play a game to enjoy it. The difficulty level one chooses to play has no bearing on the enjoyment factor gained by each player. I was using some humor (that missed) by using the difficulty level used to mitigate my lack of skill. If anything, I was impressed with the speed both were taken down in the video.

I have around 250 hours on this game. And I've used a lot of my shards.. and I only have around 80,000 or so. Ive only played on story difficulty 2 times in this 250 hour time gap. All the other times were ultra hard, except for the first ever time I've played hzd, which was on normal mode

Hi JorRaptor, have you made a video showing which are the highest stat modifications we can get in the game? I've been farming for modification drops, and I'm not sure of the max mods stats you can get for all the various mods.

I think he uses the Hardpoint arrows, because it has a combination of Damage & Tear stats, whereas the sharpshot has these arrows split into pure damage and pure tear. I don't think you can mod a sharpshot arrow enough to create the required combination of damage + tear you can automatically get with the Hardpoint arrows.

i almost never saw the rockbreaker in the game... i only saw it in like 3 places.... when i beat it, the game said i killed one rockbreaker and none of the rockbreakers were necessary to beat for the main story.. i mean u could just walk away from them if u wanted

Wow getting all the 50 coils is really cool but..3 million shards Id say pointless lol.I was wondering if its possible to slay absolutely EVERY machine on the map ie completely wipe out all the machines xD?Or they will still respawn somewhere far away?

They respawn. When you travel far enough away from an area (including fast travel) then return it will fully respawn. Also, if you save at a campfire then reload the save it respawns the area. Each area's enemies are fixed so you will always encounter the same enemies in the same areas. The only caveat being those that are linked to specific quests. Those only spawn one time, during the quest, so returning to that area, in some cases, means all enemies are gone or the specific enemy is gone, it depends on the quest.

Is nothing to do after, just killing machine everywhere. I suppose the guy really love this game. I am in the same position with Prototype. the game. even if it is finished for years, i still play it even today, i go for a killing spree or something. I just like it too much to just stop playing.

I feel like this doesn’t count cus it isn’t on the hardest difficulty. Machines give way less resources on ultra hard. This is impressive but would be way better if he actually did this on the hardest difficulty

im at 50k , 3rd playthrough of the uhgame plus. This guy cannot brag. Making that on uh , is not easy. This appears to be normal mode. Given 500 hours on normal mode i can clock that. But what for? You get so good that using 100 0 shards in like 6 hours play is enough. Honestly just do this cause i like the hunting aspect.

Of course he will have that much if you are playing on normal or maybe hard, beating Stormbird/thunderjaw/rockbreakers on those levels are easy. I'm playing on the new ultra hard mode were they can kill with one hit even if you have damage armor on. Play in that mode and try beat rockbreakers 4000+, then come talk to me.
