That is awesome that your school is going to do a majorette team! That is wonderful! As for twirling in your left hand, it just takes practice. The same amount, if not more, of practice that your right hand needs. I try to incorporate both left and right hand in all my videos, so review them to help you learn to twirl in your left hand better! Good luck!
.....It may be boring, but it will help a novice twirler in the long run when it comes to learning more advanced tricks. The point of this combination is for novice twirlers to get used to twirling in both hands which is an important aspect of twirling. I hope you enjoy my videos and future videos to come! Thanks for your input!

Baton twirling is a great sport to be passionate about! As for what to expect at tryouts, it really depends on several factors. Are you trying out for high school majorette, college majorette, feature twirler, etc? Have you ever seen the team twirl before that you are trying out for? If so, what tricks have you seen them do?
Baton twirling is an awesome sport! I use grip tape in the center of the baton to keep it from slipping when my hands get sweaty. I definitely recommend that you try baton!
Hey! Thanks for tuning in and supporting my channel! This video is aimed at novice twirlers. Twirlers who just picked up a baton for the first time! It might look flashier to do tosses and spins, but all that comes with time and practice. Practicing the basic twirls are a vital part to building an individual's baton skills......
It's cool you keep your music in sync with your counting! It must takes lot of hard work. I notice your position because thumb to tip when you pass the baton to the other hand. I wonder if it's important to keep the thumb to ball position or both sides are okay?
Very good!! I would like to learn to turn the stick. I have seen several videos and I realize that some have his cane with some marks or scratches and hers covered the central part, that's to keep it from slipping? Thanks for listening.
When you pass it behind your back there are ways to keep it thumb to ball by switching the position of you hand, but it should not negatively impact your baton twirling at all.
im going to tryout this year im kinda nerous cause i never did this before but it always had been my passion to learn how to twirl what do i expected at a tryout
