I really wanted to take my kids up into the alpine regions of our local mountains. So I decided to splurge a bit and make it a combination trip: horsepacking, backpacking, and fly fishing. Join us as the whole family heads up into the mountains.

Fantastic, Mark! I loved everything about this video. I've been a backpacker my whole life (mostly in the Sierra), and I was right there on the trail. The image at about 11:19 was absolutely stunning, and your thoughts during the hike out and while at the burger joint were beautifully expressed. I've had the very same hopes for my son, and those hopes were realized. Thanks for bringing us along!

Thanks for watching Tom nice know people are out there watching :). There was more fishing but hard to balance all the parts of the trip and still make it interesting for all sorts of folks.
