250 ml milk
50 gr wheat flour
Dough:
450 gr wheat flour
75 gr. soft butter
1 large egg (- 2 tsp)
75 gr. sugar
4 gr. salt
0.5 ... 1 tsp spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves ...)
150 gr. small raisins
50 gr candied fruit
Cross paste:
25 gr butter
25 gr sugar
1/3 tsp vanilla sugar
20 ml milk
2 tsp beaten eggs (from dough)
1/3 lemon zest
50 gr wheat flour
Syrup:
50 gr sugar
50 ml water
Bake rolls at 437 F - 15 minutes. Baking time and temperature depend on the characteristics of the oven.
