It's a good place. One of the most unspoken gems out in the western burbs is Teddy's in Downers Grove.

I have been going there since I was 10. 44 years.

I am so glad that we had a chance to check out this place while vacationing in Chicago. Wished we had one of these in Florida.

Used to change buses there in high school. 1972. IF we had money, we would get a dog for the LONG ride home down Pulaski. I think a dog and fries was a buck and change. They were great!!! Haven't been there in over a decade, now I gotta go and try them again. I still live in Chicago, so it's not a big hardship to get there. Hope they match my memories of them, still !

I almost ate at Jimmy's 17 years ago but found a nail (that you hammer) on my hotdog. A friend and I were parked in the parking lot. We just threw our food out and left. Never again.

This place is good! I highly recommend it!
