I love this video for the reason you stated early in the video. Most cigar smokers are smoking 3-8 dollar cigars. They arent smoking 15,20,25 dollar cigars... Nor are they using 500-3000$ Dupont soft flames or similar. They dont have walk in humidors. They aren't buying boxes worth a paycheck. We got to start showing more love for the "blue collar" cigars smokers! Thanks for looking out for all us regular guys!

I use a 4.99 gas station single flame torch. It works just as good as any expensive torch I’ve had over the years .

I just got the Lotus GT lighter for $50. Very sleek looking and has 2 different sized fold out punch cutters on it. Unfortunately it only lights about 1/3 of the time. I really like the look of that Lotus zippo style lighter though and at half the cost, I wish I had stumbled upon this video sooner.

I ended up purchasing the Paleo Vesuvius as due to your recommendation. I love this thing. I feel like it never runs out of fuel and it runs like a champ. It never gives me issues.

The lighter I have in my pocket most of the time is the Xikar Tactical single flame. Had it since they released it a few years back, and it’s the most reliable lighter I’ve ever used

Like every cigar smoker out there watching this video we all have multiple lighters from El cheapo to expensive but we all have our favorite, and I'm no different, my jet line insert for the zippo is my favorite, but depending on where I'm going I may carry one with a punch in the bottom to save on space in the pocket. My daily pocket lighter is a $13 XIFEI single flame with punch cutter. Very compact to fit comfortably in my pocket, nice view window for fluid, and fairly classic style.

I use a $30 Firebird torch. It has 3 flames. What I like most is that I can adjust the flame size from the bottom without a tool. It also has a decent size tank.

I have two single flame torches ive been using around a year now, and both go strong. Combined they costed $9. One has a large tank and last forever, and the other is a slim one thats not a bother to carry around in my pocket. My expensive lighters have all crapped pretty quickly.

I use that same paleo, had it about a year, keep it in my shirt pocket always, dropped it about a zillion times on the job site and it always fires up. I refill it every day, it's usually about half full after 2 or 3 cigars and a few touch up or relights. Best bang for the buck I have found

I use a dual torch/soft flame lighter. The torch ignites first and toast the foot of the cigar and on release of the button, the soft flame appears. I like it

I miss the Cigar Daily hard/soft flame lighters. They were a pain to get to work but when you did it made you look SUPER COOL!

My local cigar bar uses that Paleo one that you mentioned first. They must be workhorses because they have a stable of probably 10 of them to loan out and they are used extensively everyday. All I can say is they wouldn't use them if they crapped out quickly. I love the huge reservoir with clear so you can see exactly how much fuel you have left. I think I'm going to get one.

I mostly use zippos with the duel soft/ jet butane inserts. I try to just do a soft flame, and only the jet when I’m cleaning the burn up or it’s too windy.

My favorite lighter so far has been the Colibri Monaco. A bit higher in price but itll light every time and it just feels so satisyinf fidgeting with it in your hand

I got the zippo double torch insert and a zippo for just over $40 on Amazon. Works great.

I use the clipper stainless steel jet flame, wasnt super expensive maybe $30, great constant flame, lasts a long time and looks fairly classy.

Simple Vertigo 3 flame torch is my go-to.Lights first time, every time. I have a Prometheus OpusX 50th Anniversary which always takes 3-4 clicks to get it going and the full tank is empty after only a few sticks. This the medium size version (not the small one). It's pretty to look at and has a solid feel, but the most important part of its reason for existing is sub par. Basically, 60% of the time, it works every time. ;)

I have a vertigo triple flame. I don’t know the model. I bought for $13 from the local cigar shop when I bought my first cigar. It’s got identical features to the first lighter shown in the video. I’ve had it about 9 months now and it’s worked great so far. But for $13, if it quit tomorrow, I feel like I got my money’s worth.

At home I have a cheap Cohiba three flame. On the go, I have a DuPont Slim 7. Super expensive, but also super thin. I HATE having stuff in my pockets and lugging things around…looking at you keys!! The Slim 7 has worked great for about a year now and I barely notice it in my pocket. Only negative is that the fuel storage is also “slim”.

Was using a jetlite 4 flame torch for YEARS but it finally gave out on me, recently I've been using something that'll definitely piss off the purists. I've been using a bic, or a smokezilla refillable soft flame lighter

Personally, I really like my “S T Poupont” lighter🤷‍♂️😉… sure it cost a whole lot but it works just as perfectly as it did the day I bought it 20 years ago… but you’ve picked some good affordable lighters here

Lotus made a three burner landshark lighter. I bought it when I lost my other lighter. I've used it for over two years now with no issues.

I just had my first premium cigar and loved it. However, I had to use things I have in my woodshop. So I cut the tip with a razor blade and lite with with a butane torch I use to pop the bubbles on my epoxy tables lol

How is the glock in the wind? I live in Colorado and use my lighters to start my smoker as well. Pre fills normally struggle to light with the wind.

I am in the process of shipping back my S.T DuPont Maxijet lighter for the 4th time, my first one latest and worked flawlessly for about 2 years then it’s been downhill from them, the account rep has been amazing back I wouldn’t buy another, I also have been unlucky with Xicar lighters. got tired of shipping those back as well, last but not least is my Dunhill jet, by far the best but most expensive of the bunch at $1000, I use it for home use only because I don’t want to lose it, really appreciate the video, I think I’ll give the Fatboy at try.

Love the zippo sound but hate the button to light it. Not sure if it’s my wide hands but my finger is always sliding off the button. Thinking I may use a file to add some knurled to it.

Best lighter I have is the clipper single jet flame. Nothing expensive or fancy cost £4 and has never let me down brilliant nice and petit jet flame easy to control.

I use a cheapo 5quid torch lighter I got out a lucky dip, it may not be pretty but it does the trick and isnt too thirsty. My next big purchase is gonna be a nice double jet torch lighter though I reckon. But if im going out anywhere then ol reliable will be in my pocket.

I have a Zippo, a croc brand lighter and bought a $5 torch lighter yesterday. Its made by "Eagle Torch". I use whichever is within arm's length when its light up time. Lol.

Scorch Orion. $12 work horse. Duel flame about 3-5 cigars per refill.

I also have the double flame butane insert for my Zippo, but honestly, I've been using wood matches. Not to be snobby. It's like driving a stick shift. I feel like I'm a little more in touch with my cigar I guess? It feels old school and makes the whole lighting experience more of a ritual or something. I dunno. I like it.

I do have like 10 cheap promo (came with a cigar purchase) lighters from one torch to four torch. And all still working. I also have 2 or 3 high ends lighters. But, cheap is the way to go.

I have a vertigo cyclone and a cohiba single jet but I do also like my cheap clipper jet lighter a single jet £1.20 lighter easy to get and works great

I use give away lighters, and by Jetlines. The favor light I like is the Jetline Jetmaster. Single flame, it works reliable, and last is Arthritis friendly. Most lighter are made in China, including some STDuPonts.

My local Dollar General sells a Dual Torch lighter for about 4 dollars. I've tried more expensive ones but I those cheap disposable ones are so easy. They are even refillable if you really want to mess with it.

I use a cheap - yep, cheap - $4 table top one flame torch I picked up in Ukraine. Works flawlessly, I've had it for three years now. I stopped buying expensive ones years ago.

Gotta use the zippo soft flame butane. Bulletproof reliable however not so easy to use outside (golfcourse, bbq, etc) but inside at a cigar store or lounge it’s perfect. Lights without fail every time and can use my favorite zippo cases with it. My zippo butane torch (single and double) have always been quite unreliable and needing frequent cleaning and adjusting. Plus they eat up fuel soooo fast. The soft flame seems to sip it and lights in such a zen way. Wish it released fuel with lid open. Pressing the button after using flint wheel is easy but feels less authentic.

I just purchased the Jetline Fat Boy and I’m getting spotty performance. Not a very crisp ignite and have to hit it multiple times…some hissing and flame sputtering.

I bought a jetline fat boy a few weeks ago because I forgot my lighter at home and it was exactly the one you show in the video but had “VISOL” as the brand not sure what’s up with that lol

Dissim torch type. Gives that angle to nicely light a stick. Small glass opening to see fuel level….not big but as you fill it it shows red so you can clearly see how much fuel you have.

I use my pet dragon to light all my cigars.😂

Rockwell and JetLine are affordable and have served me well.

I have a vintage Italian silver lighter with a zippo torch/flame insert... Cost me a about $300 but my cheap $25 go to is a vertigo triple torch my wife got be 15 years ago when we were dating.. Still going strong. I would like a st dupont but can't justify $1500 for a lighter
