Excellent, i have many hours on all Challengers up to 604, retired 17 years ago, good and accurate refresher. The Hotstart CL650 is absolutely unbelievable at the price, when I compare it with what was available when I was an instructor at FSI many years ago. Yesterday flew real time Montreal - London with it, brought back fond memories.
Thanks, this is much similar to the way we used VNAV in the 737s. In fact we ALWAYS took off in VNAV unless ATC butted in. Another guy was saying how "we don't take off in VNAV in the 650". Why not? It will take me some weeks to get the gist of the 650, it has more bells and whistles than the 737 had?
