I can't really tell how good of a singer he is, they put buttloads of reverb into his vocals. The girl (the cute one on the right) though, seems to have a very strong voice without effects.
Ny Fan Obviously you're just a blind fan girl -- but you don't even back up your statement with anything. Based on only this song, because of all of the reverb they use in the production of the song, I feel that you lose a lot of the essence of what his voice should sound like. Please refrain from posting statements without backing them up.
Briguy1027 Both have reverb, but it´s because they needed a deeper sound to reach the feeling...I think you´re right, when they put effects in your voice they affect a little the real sound, but you could say both singers sang well. Reverb doesn´t affect pitch, just depth, time of release and it could give brightness to the voice or any other sound
I don't think this song really shows the best of his ability to sing xD He's still good in this song but not his best. I'm guessing its because of his late night radio shows D: he must be so tired. But really, I think you should listen to some of his other songs :3 he's truly an amazing singer

gosh i wonder any of you know the meaning of this ballad. It means a broken couple and judt want to hear each other's breath but they know they couldn't and they have no way to reconcile and cant reach each other. Taeyeon did not look look at him because she knew they meaning of the song, and jonghyun probably just looked at her because of respect and admiration.
If anyone said TaeYeon and JongHyun don't have chemistry is that the song is based on a after break up and they are pretending that they dont see eachother. Like JongHyun said "we can't see or hear each other at least we want to hear each others 'Breath'". so That's why they are lacking chemistry.
I'm here after his death although I had not been his fan ( I'm fan of Taeyeon) but I'm listening to his songs , I had been really sad & 💔 this last days ! It's so sad just so sad 😭😔
They sing this beautifully,their voices fit well together. You guys do know that this song is about a breakup right so them looking at each other or being all up in each others faces while singing this song wouldnt work. Its not supposed to have that type of chemistry. Their voices are the chemistry....

TaeYeon & JongHyunhas a gift of expression when she sings... There are a lot of better vocalists, but I always still feel like she expresses the feeling of ballads the best.
