It’s a triple entente. Like whattttt insane. Wind beneath my wings ties to desert eagle. That’s obvious. Then you think about wings. Well it could be wings of the eagle. It is in one meaning. The other meaning is that the “wings” is the “coat” and the “wind” that’s beneath his coat is the desert eagle because when you shoot a gun, you let it “blow”. Like holy shit. My mind is blown every time
i’m like 99% sure DOOM has used the sample, specifically around 1:32ish but i haven’t found the song yet. i’m gonna keep looking tho, cuz i’m positive DOOM also used this sample
@@randidesu yeah i didn’t mean literally the original sample Lol I chose the wrong word I just wanted to point out how it sounded similar to a DOOM track Lol
FACTS 🤞 💯 🏁....and this is his *26th* year in this rap game and he BEEN spitting at top tier level since way back.. Its crazy that he still got barz that surprises us till this day 💯
Dope ass song. Wayne be switching up the flows so effortlessly damn near 30 years later lol He gotta drop an actual fresh and with the times Carter album while he's got this new found interest in killing shit again lol
@@thatboy3930 i felt the energy was better on smuckers and it was unexpected how wayne came outta nowhere. You could have guessed when Wayne would come in here. Both tracks hit though fr
Tyler completely surprised us with this style of album, and it’s so awesome in my opinion. I finally have some fresh music to clear my mind, it’s been a while.

Does anyone Imagine what Lil wayne is saying when he's rapping? “Excuse me pardon me, the wind it blow so hard to me. Like Mother Nature arguing about some baby father beef. And I’m stuck in the middle of the sandwich like slaughter meat”. EWWWWW WAYNNEEEE
“Stop calling me unless you’re ordering. I’m on the beach, I got my feet out and I stay on my feet The corner beat I’m on the deep route, just throw the ball to me Thought all this lean would have me senile, I guess they see now” 🔥😤
Wayne never lost it he been rapping this way, at one point the go along get along ganged attacked him saying he lost it when he never did and now ppl hopping back on Wayne nuts smh ppl stop letting ppl think for u.. Wayne been the best !!
@@BibleStorm Birdman was holding back his creative control/freedom. Wayne has been on a whole other level ever since he started beefin wit Baby n left Cash Money 🔥🔥💯
@@milani.d1020 “wind beneath my wings” is an idiom meaning motivation or support. A bird can only fly if it has wind underneath its wings. Wayne flips this phrase by saying “desert eagle underneath my coat”. An eagle obviously, is a type of bird, but a desert eagle is a type of gun, and he’s saying it’s underneath his wing because it’s tucked into his coat underneath his arms aka his wings. The coat adds to the winged imagery.
I have listened to this album beginning to end so many times. This is "Abbey Road", this is "Charlie Parker With Strings", this is "Blood on the Tracks", this is "American Recordings"... Tyler the Creator is of the same DNA of Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and countless others. I'm continually blown away each time I listen.
“I’ma, travel the globe, you keep the block hot” love how Tyler always makes a reference to the Cash Money era every time he features Wayne, similar to 99/2000s line on Smuckers
@@robbyreal7014 D6 reloaded went under the radar but that’s another classic to Wayne’s mixtape collection if you ask me and since then he’s just been on demon time
@@travisj8110 every year waynes been getting better and better. bruh from d5 it started his main evolution, then to sorry for the wait 2, to the carter 5, then d6 to reloaded, to funeral, to no ceilings 2 a and b side...now all these features...i am not a human being 3 coming this year....shits just crazy af. There will never be another wayne or anybody on his level again
Lil Wayne has never left, Wayne's music hasnt got old, it's truly timeless music, hes the Goat of Goats in rap/hip hop, hes on Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Sinatra, Classic Rock Bands level.
it’s crazy how he’s so popular but imo not really that good, this is a decent verse but i still don’t care for him. same with young thug and future they just don’t sound regular (they have their own style which is good but it’s not my kind of music) this is my opinion don’t get mad
