Sad . But it stems from father issues that ultimately affected his relationship with the Heavenly Father . I know from experience .. Always trust in God
when tyler said: "I paint full pictures of my perspective on these drum breaks Just for you to tell me, "It's not good," from your lunch break" I actually felt that...
Tyler sounding like Kendrick with those different Flows and Voices. He is really breaking trough as the verstile and revolutionary artist that he is. Loving the album.
@@RealCGH you know what I didn't even think that but as far as pure hip hop I'm still sticking with my statement. IGOR is dope but it wasn't a purely hip hop album. This new one is.
I love how Tyler goes in depth on his thought process and why his albums differ when it comes to styles, it's really nice seeing him open up like this and it gives us a new perspective on not just his music, but him as a person. Love ya T!
He’s really one of the best artists because he’s more.. interactive ig. Like he includes us on what he’s thinking as you said and he gives us a new perspective.
The narrative on this is something else. This is a whole ass story of Tyler as an artist and person as a whole, and if it that on it's own wasn't enough musically it's straight up fire. For me massa hits every goal and it's crazy how slept on the track is.
Been a tyler fan since Bastard. My favorite thing about him is that he’s been able to progress through this last decade while staying true to his sound. Dude will be one of the goats when it’s all said and done.
@@ThatkidwithCP Earlwolf is gonna happen eventually. Even if its a different name I think they grew apart but are circling back to styles that would blend very fucking well
LYRICS 🖤🥀 Whatever your shit is, man, do it Whatever bring you that immense joy, do that, that's your luxury The greatest thing that ever happened to me was Bein' damn near twenty and leavin' Los Angeles for the first time I got out my bubble, my eyes, just wide My passport is the most valuable- Massa couldn't catch me, my legs long than a bitch Got too much self-respect, I wash my hands 'fore I piss They try to talk me-, ehm, I'ma just go Yeah, when I turned twenty-three that's when puberty finally hit me My facial hair started growin', my clothing ain't really fit me That caterpillar went to cocoon, do you get me? See, I was shiftin', that's really why Cherry Bomb sounded so shifty My taste started changin' from what it was when they met me But first impression is everything, ain't wanna let me go Always curious as a child and askin' questions, so I ain't give no fucks, if, and, buts if they accept me Yo, my boy Skateboard P gave me that speech in Italy session, uhm Thankfully, by hour three that detour perspective, uhm Thoughts change so rapid, turn into a butterfly, Flower Boy happened All the bees buzz, be they buzz, scream, they love me First time I private airline, accolade, song got airtime Went to my style, body, and feelings and fixed my hairline Calmed down in front of cameras, been there since tens of millions I'm not that little boy y'all was introduced to at 1-9 Mom was in the shelter when "Yonkers" dropped, I don't say it (I don't say it) When I got her out, that's the moment I knew I made it (Yeah, yeah) I don't come from money, they deny it Since I don't mirror the stereotypical products of my environment Eight figures in taxes, takin' that shit is stupid A flower gets its petal, they pluck it but never use it It's still potholes in the schools, when does it go? It's still loopholes that I use, nobody knows Massa couldn't catch me, my legs longer than a bitch Got too much self-respect, I wash my hands 'fore I piss They try to talk me up but I keep short like Caesar Eyes open if I pray 'cause I can't trust God either, uh See, right there, you got one life to live How far do you really wanna take it? This perspective from the beak of a bird You hope I peak, you take my peace You gon' see me run, like thieves in the night I'm paranoid, I sleep with a gun The heat on my dungaroos because they beefin' for fun I'm vegan for now, I'm conscious, know my hands meet when I bow I'm grateful, you niggas hateful, you eat at me, you got a plate full You can't relate to these things I say to these instrumentals Whether it's wealth talk or shit that's painful I paint full pictures of my perspective on these drum breaks Just for you to tell me, "It's not good," from your lunch break Holiday season A vision you have to understand from perspective Check your resources, nigga .
@@geraldoarantes1083 His sentiments on a few of his songs here sound like he wants to do other things. No doubt he still be dropping music but I don't think he'll drop a proper Tyler,The Creator album for a long while.
This album really is about seeing Tyler, his career, his love life, his growth. It’s all amazing that he included it all with samples of his old music too
@@angel-bp7ew I know it was just a random fact. In fact massa is master but slaves not being educated in the english language would pronounce it "massa"
Yo, that's so true, rich people complain about how shitty public schools and roads are but then turn around to their accountants to use loopholes to keep themselves from paying their fair share. But eventually shit gets so bad that it starts biting you in the ass, and you end up with like a Nat Turner or John Brown or some other revolution which costs way more than your fair share ever would have.
I agree but he is also specifying that the government doesn’t properly distribute even the tax funds that they do get. Regardless I’d rather pay taxes so that SOME will go into things we actually need (roads, public schooling, etc.), even if most of it goes to stupid shit.
The complaint about public schools and roads being bad is merely a scapegoat because rich people don’t want to pay taxes. Do you honestly believe rich people send their children to public schools? No, their children go to “top of the line” private schools far, far away from people in a lower tax bracket. Tyler wasn’t making a critique of rich people with that line, he was just parroting their arguments because that’s what he genuinely believes.
This song make me want to cry because this is personal Tyler like the beat is crazy I just be having this song on repeat this is motivation music it made me want to go and go special when run it up
Reminds me of school bus rides home when goblin came out, I was a freshman in high school in the Texas heat of summer. Thinking about the future and listening to tyler spit on his own beats, look at the dude now. He's an inspiration.
The Off-Season was better imo ,and he deserves it more,KOD was simply ignored and after that IGOR won RAOTY even tho it was not very "rap" ,Cole should win AOTY and Tyler RAOTY so Cole can get redemption and Tyler to actually have a rap album that wins RAOTY,but we all know something like Olivia Rodrigo will win it :')
