Filipino Hotcake brings back many memories from our childhood. Hot cakes are Filipino version of pancakes, eaten mostly as a snack.
They are a popular street food in the Philippines. The ingredients are simple, very easy to make, delicious, and inexpensive.
Ingredients:
2 cups Flour
2 tbsp Sugar
3 tsp Baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 cups Water or Evaporated milk (optional)
2 tbsp Melted margarine
2 Eggs
10 to 15 drops yellow food color
Garnish:
Sugar and Margarine

Hot cakes look yummy and remind me so much of pancakes! I use to teach preschool and we would sometimes make pancakes in the classroom because they are so simple to make. That margarine you used at the end looks super tasty 💓🙂

We are selling pancakes, we also used all purpose flour and calumet as baking powder... But we don't add sugar and milk.. Instead, wen the Pancake is already cook, we add margarine and sugar.. And evaporated milk.. They love it too...
