Just finished watching this series and I absolutely loved it! Pure, undiluted, laugh out loud comedy from start to finish. I'm staying at the President next week and I can't bloody wait! 😆

Why wasn’t Steph and Zoe getting more glory. They did everything.

How rude of her to feed the dog the food front of the chef. He clearly knew what he was doing in the kitchen. Also the happy sigh of the dog spa trainer after that painful grooming session 🤣

Degrading for the chef on two counts: feeding her dog the chop, and not pre requesting a vegetarian meal-but didn’t suspect any less of a woman with no class at all, which was apparent from the beginning of the show. She tries to put on an air of posh-but she would never be accepted into those kind of circles. The owner and she alone is responsible for the ultimate failure of the hotel, as preoccupied as she is with her own self importance.

Steph is such a gem. How terribly sad to hear he has died.

For God's Sake I am an ex Pilot,Navigator,Oil Company Chemist and loads more ....I would get this Hotel running easily...motivate your Staff and increase their wages if they do well !

if they want to be a “posh” hotel. They need to refurbish everything and get rid of 99% of the staff and replace them with professional people. The current staff wont change ever lol - the award was won because they got everyone to fill out the forms in front of them lol

Blackpool is sad, nasty, dirty, worn out place. It doesn't offer anything. Pleasure beach is a joke, the Tower is expensive for what it's offering.

Ive just discovered this series and what a gem. Had to watch all 8 on the bounce (or just about) it did seem heavily scripted in parts - or was it? as some of the events were too good to be true. Good souls with big hearts serving the absentee owner. Does anyone have info as to where these folk are now? Reviews nowadays say the hotel has become a cesspit.

15.46 They go under cover with a camera crew . Then they are surprised that a hotel looks and runs better then theirs LOL. if "president" is b/pools finest i'm glad i never visit the place. but i will say what a good,and very entertaining series.

that dog is vile and nasty....guarding his food is a serious problem and if that had been a large dog it would have taken his face off.....she is a stupid woman, she takes that dangerous dog to the hotel and she hasnt trained it....it could bite a child and end up having to be put down because she is so stupid

Really enjoyed watching this series. Anybody know what went wrong because the hotel has lots of complaints on Google and is now closed down and was recently raided as it was being used as a cannabis farm. Im guessing this series was made in the mid 00's?

If that Hotel wins hotel of the year, then Blackpool must be a seriously horrible dump…..why on earth would anybody vote for it,?…..seriously…..makes Fawlty Towers look like The Savoy.
