Loved this. Here's some gentle tips for next time: 1. A second shower for Dalien 2. With the picture frames in the kitchen: you can click on them and actually choose a frame 3. For the house, in build mode you can choose a roof trim which might make it look sexier 3. For the kitchen, you can put a cabinet over the oven. The air suction thingy (english is failing, sorry) can slide into the cabinet. Looks definitely sexier 4. Dalien might get unhappy moodlets from no wallpaper. Although the rest is decorated nicely so might compensate for it. Just know to get him wallpaper if you start wondering why he's upset all the time 5. Mayhaps... door at the bottom of the stairs? Privacy for shenanigans? 6. Do you have inside and outside bins? People always forget those That's it from me. Love/hate the new owl side.

i love that the fiction is that they went into hiding so that their newfound youth wouldn't be questioned and then immediately built an extremely distinctive house that absolutely no one else would ever build

I absolutely loved this video, but I can't get over how they insisted that the owl slide had to go, that it was a thing of the past, and then they end up adding two owl slides to the new home. Iconic.

I think it’s very important information for you two that the Cottage and Seasons expansion packs allows you to raise, name, and dress chickens, rabbits, cows, llamas, and bees. Just food for thought.

Y'all probably won't see this, but if you do: Dil is level 10 hardiness. He could easily upgrade any sink you buy to make it *unbreakable*. Just buy the parts needed via phone/computer.

Wondering how long into gameplay Dan will realize his beautiful bathroom doesn't have a shower so everytime Dalien wants to bathe he will have to go into his parents bedroom or they'll have to add a shower/another bathroom.

The day they discover house foundations and the fact that they can press alt to move objects without having to stick to the grid so they can just center things to their hearts content...its over for us all

Two little tips: 1. If you’d like to avoid some awkward situations with Dalien, I suggest doing away with the stone fencing and putting normal walls with a door to the basement, that way you can control who can go down there with the lock feature 2. I also suggest putting a shower in the second bathroom for Dalien, so he doesn’t always use the one in the pink bathroom

watching this knowing dan and phil designed their own house irl is very interesting

As someone currently pursing their architectural engineering degree this is horrendous but it's certainly the most creative thing I've seen.

i think there needs to be a full bathroom in the basement. in case dalien needs to use it immediately and can’t get upstairs in time. jdjs

some ideas i've not seen anyone say yet: - terrain painting!! you can use *free* terrain paint to make outdoor pathways, rather than using floor tiles - if you hold down the alt key when placing an object, you can place it off the grid (not a cheat if it's in the game!) - you can now paint/wallpaper ceilings! it can be a bit expensive, but there are some cool options so definitely check it out - the front door is see-through! can't hide from neighbours if they can literally see into your house - not house related but give tabitha a new aspiration! i think her current one is mixology which you've already done with dil so you could definitely pick a new one for her. some interesting options: angling ace, musical genius, friend of the animals, chief of mischief
