House of the dead 3 (Xbox) (HD) - 2 Players

Hey, I'm looking for an ARCADE game, I can't remember which it was. It was DEFINITELY two-player (option), and I think there may have been candles(?) representing health. There were light rail "pistols" used, and there was a boss segment JUST like this one (very similar) whee a boss chases you throughout the stage, and you either, I think, needed to hit his arms or head to get past, but the decor of the stage seemed to be inside a house instead of outside, and there were skeletons ... I don't know if I'm looking at the same game after looking at the first stage or not, but it had an extremely similar aesthetic to House of the Dead, and there were definitely PISTOLS ... Do you know which game it was? I posted this comment above, but you really seem to know your light-rail arcade games, so I thought I'd ask too lol

One of my very favourites was a game called "Crisis Zone" lol I'm actually really sad. In the 90s, these games used to be everywhere in the UK where I'm from, and arcades were much more common as a form of entertainment where I lived, though I never had any money to play as a child, so whenever I went on a school trip and I was in a service station or theme park/seaside resort I used to watch people play (lol) There were a few at my local cinema that I used to watch a lot. I used to especially love this Crisis Zone Machine at my local cinema that used to be there before it got remodelled, and all the machines got removed. I used to watch the attract screens a lot (lol) Everyone used to die midway, until one day I remember this one time when, like, the "chosen one" came (lol), he managed to get through all of Garland Square, I got surprised more and more, until I finally saw him even trigger the cutscene (which I'd NEVER SEEN BEFORE!) and manage to get ALL THE WAY up to the MASSIVE infantry fighting vehicle at the end for the first time! I was shocked there was such a massive boss, and was even more SHOCKED when this ~20 year old guy actually BEAT IT and completed the stage, before getting called away by someone =[ This was a few years before RU-vid was created, and many years before you could find anything on there, so this was the VERY first time I'd ever even seen Another game that I really wanted to play was Time Crisis 2, maybe with someone else =] I think we must've been at a service station or on a Ship between France and England to go to Italy on a school trip, it was a little different to Crisis Zone, and you had to shoot "off-screen" to reload the handgun (as opposed to the massive SMG lol) but it was so cool! I loved watching every bit, ESPECIALLY the first boss on the first stage. I FINALLY had enough money so when my friends left I played myself, but only got one attempt, and died on the boss =[ Now, as an adult when I've finally got a chance to explore some of these locations, these places are ALL but gone. It just makes me sad, and a little upset. There are such precious few places that they can still be found in the inner cities (specifically light-gun games like Time Crisis and House of the Dead), and the selection is always so incredibly low ... The only places where you can find some of these old machines now are service stations, seaside towns, theme park amusements, and hidden places on the occasional ship (lol) I'm still sad. Most people really underappreciate how much joy RU-vid and Internet archiving can bring to so many people, especially these "Lets Plays", but the archive playthroughs of old arcade games on emulators is something else entirely! Most people never truly owned these games, or even the ports as they needed(?) the rail gun accessory on the original PlayStation for the full experience, so they weren't as popular as some of the others. There is a huge gap in video game culture through people that know, remember and truly value these games, because the genre was SO different. These machines were truly the pinnacle of historic gaming arcades in the 90s and early 2000s, particularly when 3D video graphics reached the plateaux at the end of the 90s. They trulyharken back to being one of the greatest symbols of 90s arcade gaming, but I still feel the community for people that really love these games is sadly somewhat underground now, especially with the advent of smartphones, social media and massive inflation. But with modern arcade emulators (and even modern tech) they can now be played as they were supposed to be(!) Like I said, the community that knows and appreciates some of these games are really rare, rarer even than that of original 80s arcade games, as SO many of them were ported onto home consoles where people remember them fondly, particularly from the 80s. Archiving of 90s arcade games is often dwarfed by those that were ported to consoles, and that people see and remember at home during that era. A video like of a more common console ported arcade game this should have at least a million views by now, but after around a decade, it barely has 250k. Light-gun games were one of the most iconic symbols of 90s gaming, but due to economic cost of powering these units in smaller establishments, rampant inflation, and newer and newer technology in terms of home gaming, they've really and truly disappeared from the inner city areas, and can't be enjoyed anymore. Like I said, it really makes me sad. Hey, if you find that game I was talking about, let me know =]

Sega really took advantage of the xbox hardware. The "spiritual sucessor" for the Dreamcast. Although, two of the most important dreamcast games were ported for other console: Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 for GameCube, not xbox just like Shenmue 2 for example.

@@shooter5769 Yeah after watching other gameplay videos, I realized that it runs at 60 fps on xbox too. But the game seems to be slowing down on some places.
