@@Nsodnoajdjksl the amazing thing is the voice acting in the first HotD is just mediocre. Then in HotD 2 it takes a huge step down and then jumps up to "eh, ok" in HotD 3.

It was my late dad who introduced this game to me. It's funny how time flies so fast! Of all the bosses, I always find “Magician” the most difficult to defeat!
I can't believe this game was scary back then as a kid. I must say the voice acting is top tier. Ps: the emperor wants to destroy...and most importantly hate mankind. 🤣
It's very likely they just got people from the Sega offices who spoke English and asked them to read the dialogue with no context. Whatever the case, I want to find the "VOs" and just shake their hand.

This game made me realized that Goldman's purpose for making those zombies and Emperor is to end the cruelty of the human race and to protect the nature. I started playing this game when I was 9

I feel bad for Gary being a third-wheel they really didn't think two would play this game since all the dialogue is focused on James and he's player one.
If im correct(if not correct me) but I think the bad ending in this game is not that Goldman is a zombie, but the fact that he's the only one outside the building. This probably means that everyone in the city is dead, and that James and Gary are the last survivors, so that's why zombie Goldman was the only one there at the end.
Original Mode allows you to equip modifiers before the start of the game, they include ammo mods, different guns like shotguns and machine guns, double points and costume mods where you can play as other character models like G, a civilian, Goldman, a David zombie and even Bruno Dillinger from Dynamite Cop
Best ever part of house of the dead games. All I remember that me and my brother had pain in our fingers for keep on clicking the mouse for while defeating the bosses. Nostalgic
Realistically, they would send in the military to dispatch the horde of zombies, but I guess all they need are a couple of agents with no body armor and a whole ton of ammo for their measly pistols. Eh, who am I kidding? This game's gold! :)
I miss the arcade :3 Would love to go back there. I think this is the uncensored version cause i remember the blood was graphic and its like green for some reason.
i like magician boss out of all bosses in the series. the most badass boss in hotd. when i was in teenage i remember Magician in boss mode in Red Star difficulty was freaking fast
