That little boy that shot his shot was something else. When he said she would be safe with him, he meant that. Alicent still wearing her mama's clothes, meanwhile Rhea Rhea has a team of designers. Viserys is rotting away and I know that got to stink. Then he had the nerve to bed. The black finger stubs and his back... lawd have mercy. In the end it all came down to Plan B.
I agree with EVERYTHING you said! Alicent was laying there like Jada was when she was in a bind with Nate on Set if Off. The smell of those infections I know was horrible you see mice starting to come to the King's bed. They probably smell that rot!

They blew past Rhea Rhea and Alicent making amends. It also continues to seem like they are implying it is something between the two ladies. Alicent's reaction was more like a jealous lover than a concerned stepmother/friend. I don’t beleieve King Viscerys sent Rhaenyra the moon tea. I think the maesters are in cahoots with Otto to besmirch Rhaenyras good name and leave King Viscerys no choice but to name his son Aegon the heir to the iron throne instead. Also I believe the maesters and Otto have been poising the King and orchestrated the circumstances that led to Aema & Baelon’s deaths.
As soon as Rhaenyra started kissing him back hard & was showing that she was into it he lost interest cause he wasn't in power/control anymore. It's his ego that blocks him from performing.

I agree HBO made some of the scenes too dark. But I found out that they made it to be viewed as cinematic, meaning you have to watch the episodes in complete darkness in order to see it better.
