The fact Cristen got pissy at RhaeRhae for saying no to not leaving the throne behind to be a poor farmer with him, even though she said she still wanted to be with him, to him now being all up in Alicent who says this can't happen again and basically playing the same exact role he would have been playing if he had just stayed with RhaeRhae in the first place!? I can't stand his, *ss.

The blood and cheese moment is even more fucked up in the books. In the books they have 2 sons and a daughter. They ask Helena to choose which son dies. She chose the youngest maelor. After that they went up to maelor, told him his mom picked him to die and then killed the one she didn’t choose which is who died in the show. The amount of psychological damage that does to everyone in the room😂
Daemon is all “hey, you can’t clock out yet” and Raenys said “Man get away from me with that, you don’t sign my check, son in law who let my daughter die. Who you talking to?”
Kevvvvv!! I had the same reaction when he kicked that puppy dog! I clutched the pearls and looked at the screen in disbelief 🫢! He didn’t even whimper he Arfed so I know it hurt 🥺. I’m team Black 🐉 but I need to see somebody give cheese 🧀 and 🩸 a nice old fashioned whoop down for how they did that poor little baby and that puppy dog🦵🐕.
You can see how they KINDA tried to recreate the Blood & Cheese scene in the book, but the scene in the books is so much worse. Helaena has three kids; the elder boy/girl twins, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera, along with a younger boy named Maelor. Blood and Cheese tell her "A son for a son, one of your sons must die, you get to pick which boy lives" and she decides to save Jaehaerys by sacrificing Maelor. However, it turns out Daemon had instructed Blood & Cheese to kill the opposite of whoever Helaena picks, so they kill Jaehaerys instead and tell Maelor "Your mummy wants you dead". Now Maelor will have to grow up knowing his mother was ready to sacrifice his life. The guards find Helaena covered in blood, cradling the headless body of Jaehaerys while screaming. The trauma drives her insane.
I know a lot of people feel as though she wasn’t scared because she wasn’t freaking out like the book but she is autistic coded in the show so she isn’t going to act like that. She was quiet and ran so that they couldn’t follow her, she smoothers her daughters mouth in her shoulder and was trying to figure out where sir cole was because she doesn’t like her mom

I didn’t think she likes any of her family too and it’s sad that she couldn’t depend on the only other person she thought she could go to, sorry behind sir munch-a-lot, who should’ve been there to help her and defend her children but was screwing her mom instead 🤦🏾♀️
My man and I CANNOT believe the ending of the first episode 💀💀💀 for 15 minutes straight we went in on how Helaena walked seven days & seven nights to reach ONE person-her sad excuse for a mother!! Where is the security?!?!?!?!? Not a guard, a servant-where’s the queen’s handmaidens!!! She’s supposed to have a slew of em! Me and my brother said this exact thing 😫 it’s sad that they’re so out of touch with her needs that they just treat her like she’s a weirdo or like she’s crazy. She even low key told them she was afraid, but her mom and guard were off screwing each other instead of comforting her and making sure she was safe and guarded 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
They were able to walk through the throne room without confrontation because they were “rat catchers.” Cheese was even seen around the castle in two earlier scenes in the episode.
My question is where was the SECURITY!!! Helena is the literal QUEEN. Where are her guards?!? Was there no one stationed outside? Was raggedy Cristian supposed to be guarding her??! Lordt! This review was hilarious btw. 🤣🤣🤣
Crusty is upper echelon security & strategist, so he wouldn't have personally been guarding anyone. But, he would have been responsible for making sure there was adequate protection in and around the palace.

Helaenas character is meant to be in the spectrum, she doesn't feel the same things that we do in the same way. She dissociated hard, scene was terrifying especially hearing it.
I thought she was a neglected dreamer? So she often can’t tell past, present, and future from each other nor dream from reality. Since she hasn’t been taught how to tend to her gift, she struggles in dealing with what’s real and not. They think she’s a bit touched in the head but she’s not, she’s more like trapped in her head bc dreamers can be very fragile.
@@xrystal89 I think that's definitely the unsaid character motivation, but maybe both are true? ND people definitely relate to Helaena's mannerisms. Being a dreamer who isn't believed has left her isolated, overstimulated with information she can't decipher, and she disassociates. Her brain chemistry is literally different than the others.

Other than that she 100% pushed for Aegon to take the throne, and even plans to retake power from Aegon "once the novelty wears off" with Otto. She also does "do favors" for Larys so she can get his intel and assassin services. She also a hypocrite cause she's climbing Cole's high tower
