I love how with season 1, they gave us what we wanted right away - dragons. And then season 2 did it again - Winterfell. I also thought she smothered the little girl holding her so tight.

I’m honestly glad they’re showing more humanity from Aegon. It felt like Season 1 tried to make him too unlikeable, (the grape scene last season wasn’t from the book) so I’m glad they’re fixing this. There’s some serious psychological damage done from all the fear drilled in and lack of attention from Viserys. Now he’s king, it seems he’s doing his best to receive some sort of approval and affection. At least he seemed to have a good relationship with his children

Am I trippin or did they actually enhance the sound of the tools used to end the baby boy? Sounds like their blades were extra dull or something.

I think Alicent does care for her children. Love is expressed differently by people and Alicent's example is her father. I think any natural affection Alicent would have wanted to show her father as a child was rebuffed/ignored by her father so she learned how to temper that instinct early.

You were named before there was a male heir and the report is that it was King Viserys' dying wish to have Aegon be the heir, so my father's oath is null & void. I'm Team Green. OR 3. You look like you need some help to hold onto your crown there missy. Team Green promised to have Prince Aemond marry one of my daughters. Make me an offer.
