Ashley, I had my first in 2022 and I remember saying the same thing as you; that I was grateful for my baby and the experience, but I didn’t think I’d ever want to do it again. Well here I am 20 months later to tell you that I still feel exactly that way 😂 I feel like people who def knew they wanted more knew IMMEDIATELY and I still haven’t had that feeling because my pregnancy was a nightmare 😅

Pregnancy is hard and don’t let people who have had an “easy” pregnancy make you feel down. My pregnancy was technically an “easy” one, but it was hard for me. I too had just gotten my life together & lost about 70lbs, so the weight gain was hard mentally. Don’t worry about not knowing what to do when you have your baby. I was terrified (my daughter is almost 4 weeks), I knew nothing, but so much comes naturally!!

You will be the BEST MOM!!! Like you……I didn’t really have any experience with babies either, but it comes naturally. And, pregnancy is so tough! You are born to be Mom Ashley, but the pregnancy part of it is not easy at all! I have two amazing girls now ages 26 and 30 and they are MY LIFE! You’ll see ….❤

I had really hard pregnancies (and deliveries) but I’m really glad we had 2. They are such amazing support for each other even now as teens. The second pregnancy was a pleasant surprise despite “protection” anyways. 😂 But honestly nothing about my journey has been easy. You’re not alone. ❤ At least you can’t have gallbladder issues again!

Ashley, I can’t imagine going through surgery while pregnant. You’re doing great. I would suggest looking into hypno birthing. It’s not as weird as it sounds. I did the Bradley method, with 6 pregnancies. My daughter did hypno birthing, which was amazing and was very similar to what I did. I think the birthing center sounds like a great idea. I think you’re going to do great, you got this. It’s so good to hear that you are doing well. You’ll be in my prayers.

I had boy/girl twins in July. I had an amazingly healthy and good pregnancy but obviously got huge (12lbs of baby). My water broke at 35 weeks and my babies had to spend 3 weeks in the nicu which was extremely emotional and traumatic. They are super healthy now and development is right on track at 4 months but the newborn stage with 2 babies is harder than I could of ever imagined. I will not be having anymore children so I do completely understand how you feel on that stance. I want my body back and spend my time with these 2 bundles of joy without feeling the pressure of society to have more children. Glad your feeling good now as you've dealt with so much during pregnancy ❤

The philodendron plowmanii I got from Zamzows did the same thing the only thing I found was that most of its roots were jammed in an old tissue culture cell

You look very healthy in your video; the surgery worked well for you! As for repeating pregnancies, I was in and out of the hospital the first 6 months of pregnancy, but then I was blessed with a pregnancy the 2nd time around that was so healthy I worked until the day I went into labor. And please don’t worry about inexperience. I had never held a baby before I had my kids - you just grab the bull by the horns and Kai will do great :)

I applaud you for being open about not wanting to go this journey again and I don't blame you. 🫂I must say your husband's acknowledging the challenges and not pressing you for more is a beautiful thing. 💯

for the sp peru I would siggest checking the roots, the pot looks pretty big and the porring mix seems dense so my best guess is just that the roots arent getting enough aeration. I doubt its root rot or burned, just seems a but grumpy. if its not pests and i see dying leaves, i always check roots. if you could get it into terracotta of the same size or a ceramic a few sizes smaller it would reduce amount of guttation when the soil is saturated, which is often a trigger on variegated leaves for browning. giving it less light would make the soil stay wet longer, so i wouldnt move it!

I would love to see updates on your Thai Cons. I've never been able to have children . Liked the video, but hard to relate to pregnancy.

When you go into labor, if you can't take the pain, ask for a shot. It helps so much. I had the first baby natural. 2nd baby, I asked for a shot, 3rd, I did Lamaze and screamed her out, lol. They even let my Aunts in to watch, I told my sister she could have made popcorn and watched. Lol.

Syngoniums. Who can know what they're thinking? 😅 they probably know somehow that winter is coming. They may just be doing that because of less light with winter coming. I really think they're going dormant. I am glad everything is going better for you in your pregnancy 😊 and you found an absolute jewel in your choice for a husband

Oh man trust me.. id never changed a diaper before (i actually youtubed it while i was pregant).. i was so nervous because i had zero experience with babies. I was always nervous around babies lol. I dont thikk i even really held a baby in my whole life. After having my first, it seemed to all come natural and i was super comfortable with him. Now i have two boys and i love it!

Not an expert but your plants look like they either got cold (maybe your floor is cold?) and are considering going dormant OR they are burnt by your lights, possible if you're using that new spray product that you were showing when Mom was there? My plant that looks like yours is a maranta. I have had a light case of spider mites and that plant was on the floor in terracotta and the floor is cement slab so it got too cold and went all sorts of crazy looking. I moved it to up under one of the Sansi clip lights and tidied it up and saw there are some very tiny new growths now after about 2 weeks... sooo fingers crossed!! I assume you're on cement slab as well just based on your layout, so if you can lift your plants, even if its just with a piece of wood or an upside down container it will help keep them warmer!!!

I've had 2 babies. One in a hospital (c-section) and one in a birth center. I LOVED my birth center birth. Your midwife would be able to explain what would happen in case of any issue. we had a consult before we decided to go with her for my VBAC and she went through everything been down to which OB would take over care if we had to transfer.

I had total of 4 pregnancy but they all was born premmie my daugther she is 25 now she was born at 24 weeks by the grace of God she is heathy them my 22 yr old son was born @ 26 weeks he is healthy and my other son 13 he is non verbal autistic he was born at 30 weeks and a lil angel ulhope feels bette sook

Oh that Peru thing is strange it's gotta be the lamp plus sun no worries though that will recover fast. My sister had her gall bladder removed a week after giving birth and it was a lot Gall bladder pain is like being shot in the chest where you can't even get up to move. I hope you don't have dumping syndrome as a side effect from it, my sister does and she has to take Questran powder to help with that. I think childbirth is a lot on a person some women live for it and other women go through so much for it. Nothing is wrong with wanting yourself back. My sisters first preg. was so rough on her but then she decided 2 years later she wanted to see if she could have a girl and it was a breeze for her so you know just listen to your inner voice and first and foremost be happy.

Aww Ashley!! Your pregnancy being so rough on you and you saying that about babies makes me sad. Not because I think everyone needs more than one, but bc it makes me sad that the trauma from it all has swayed you that way. I HIGHLY recommend a therapist, i know that sounds like overkill but when we expect pregnancy and delivery to go one way and we end up traumatized by it it's a genuine trauma and it can take therapy to talk through it and understand why our feelings are what they are and to be okay with those feelings. You asking about hemmoraging after. I hemmorage after i deliver. I had a homebirth with my second. I had a certified registered nurse midwife who was able to carry pitocin and other clotting meds, she immediately gave me several injections, had her helper massage my stomach to help with the bleeding and she started an IV with fluids and more pitocin to keep me contracting and got it all under control. If you want to do a birthing center or antthing like that find a nurse midwife who is the highest type of nurse you can get and who can not only carry but can administer these medications just in case! I would have had another homebirth had i had more babies but the midwife said they would start the IV ahead of delivery to try and prevent the bleeding. I hope that makes some sense... Whatever you do, if you do find yourself pregnant again, remember that EVERY SINGLE PREGNANCY is different, even within the same person. With my first I was on bedrest for 3 months, bc I was fainting a ton... my second i fainted zero. My first I had hyper emesis and multiple hospital stays for dehydration, with my second I only was sick if I waited to long to eat... It wasn't even a matter of time as I got pregnant when my first was 14 months old! I couldn't believe how different the two pregnancies were. Only complaint with second pregnancy was the hemmorage (had with first too though) and the pelvic pain, but i had a 9lb baby boy and he was a low rider so the pain was just normal! Support you either way no matter what way you go or don't go, but i do recommend talking to a therapist bc it is SUPER NORMAL for women to experience trauma and even grief over their pregnancies and that can lead to higher risk of PPD and PPA so getting ahead of that by talking to someone before Kai comes would definitely be helpful!!! I haven't used BetterHelp but if i was you i would totally reach out to them and ask if they want to sponsor you! They sponsor so many youtubers and i think they would totally sponsor you because I haven't seen a sponsorship yet with a pregnant person!! Just an idea!!

Every pregnancy is different so if you do change your mind, chances are the next one will be very different.

Stop comparing yourself to others people you can never meet up to it . Just experience your pregnancy to yourself every parent makes it own parenting experience. And it normal to be sacred you’ve never had a baby but your experiencing normal feelings . Just take it one day at a time each day has it own anxiety…
