Your excitement over the syngonium made me remember I have two in the other room and Im not sure when they last got watered... like we are talking at least a month... The book hobby is SO GOOD FOR YOU but i totally get that they are not only heavy and take up space but they're expensive! That's why I love my kindle, I can read sooo many books through Amazon Prime at no extra cost (just filter books by prime) and then also Kindle Unlimited has sooo many more, and then the library!!! i do miss physical copies but I don't miss having to find a spot for them and of course i do treat myself to a physical copy now and then. Where I live a hardcover book is like 30 dollars, then when it comes out in paperback it's usually around 20-25 dollars which really isn't that great of a savings, so for the price of 1 physical book I can pay for 2/3 months of kindle Unlimited and read as much as i want to. I know you said before you don't want another subscription but for the 10 dollars a month vs the cost of a single book you may find it worth it. Though, if you're ONLY wanting to read super popular books you may not get them on unlimited and have to pay like 10 dollars or so for a digital copy. I know for myself my kindle cost about 150 dollars which is a LOT of money, but since I got it, i've read well over 100 books with kindle unlimited. So if my math is mathing, i've spent about 390 dollars in 2 years on books with the kindle AND kindle unlimited BUT if i had bought all those books in physical copies i would have spend 2500+ tax. Sooo I've saved over 2100 dollars... which we all know likely went to plants whether it was an actual plant or plant care like lights or pots or soils or pest management whatever something planty... but like for me i just know i would have NOT read if i didn't see that 0 dollar price on kindle unlimited and it's very clearly paid for itself since I do use it and part of the reason i use it is because i know i am paying for it and i would be a bit mad if i didn't read at least one book each month to make it worth the 10 dollars! I hope that makes sense!!! Math hurts my brains!!! Did your moms plants all make it home safely? I would love it if she sends some pics for you to include in like a "mom's plant update video" HAHAHAH I feel like she was there so long i've adopted her as my planty mother... :P

Obviously haven't watched yet, but Hoya question!!! I just got my second Hoya (you started this hoya thing) it's a Parasitica Black Margin. It's cute. Anyway, I know nothing about it. Should the leaves be more succulent like my pubicalyx or are they generally slightly thinner? Should I trellis it or leave it? It doesn't have LONG tentacles (no one can change my mind that they're not all related to Ursula) so I don't know if i should trellis it or just leave it or will it will get the long tentacles? Do I water it the way i do my pubicalyx (when it's light) or more often since it seems to have less succulent leaves? Basically a hoya SOS here :P

If you go through a lot of books, you should get them from the library. Free is even better than $4-5 (or $25). I mostly do audiobooks for when I’m in my car, but you can borrow ebooks too. You don’t even need to go to the library, just check them out from your device. And get library cards from a bunch of libraries so you have more options. Not sure how it works for your local libraries, but in California, any ca resident can get a library card from any library (though most make you go in the first time to get the card)

I think I read somewhere Fourth Wing is going to be a 5 book series but I should check Goodreads. I'm almost at the end of Iron Flame listening to the audiobook and I have no idea where it's headed. Next I'm onto the Six of Crows the Leigh Bardugo series and Powerless by Lauren Roberts. I love that cute squirrel air plant.

Yesss to the terrariums, last year I decided I wanted most of my plant collection to be in terrariums so much fun 💚💚🌿

I keep seeing these videos of these philodendrons at Home Depot but have yet to find one at my local Home Depot. 😥
