I was born in London ! I couldnt afford to buy there so had to move out to Herts and get another job. You have to adapt !

You don't have a right to live in one of the most expensive cities in the world. The reality is we have far too many people in London and not enough homes to house all those people. Subsequently, the price for available homes will naturally increase to levels at which the most unfortunate in our society will not be able to compete. This means that we either need more housing stock specifically for disadvantaged people or we need to move them to an area where their living can be subsidised. What can Lewisham council do about the lack of available social housing? It feels quite ridiculous to make a video like this as if they have any alternative option other than to send them to areas that can house them. Ultimately, we need to completely end immigration for those who cannot sustain or afford it, and build more houses for those that are already here to help house people who are disadvantaged.

The sad truth of all of this is that there are too few putting into the ' Pot ' and too many taking from it, we have a net migration figure so high that every 2 years we increase by 1.2 million people, where exactly are they going to live ? I see civil unrest coming ourway in the next decade.

I wish people would stop blaming the landlords and actually note it’s the government lack of investing for houses for the last 20yrs+ Unfortunately the reality is there a lack of supply of housing in London (that even affordable) and for family homes even more expensive This is even more compounded when your not working. You can’t raise a family on a single income or benefits anymore (especially in London ) this is just the truth. To even apply for for affordable rents (from the London gov website) you need to minimum be earning 31k+ Unfortunately single parents or young families with kids will be the most vulnerable to this as the interest rates keeps going up and more section 21 are issued.

What’s wrong with moving to Halifax? Cheaper cost of living, has schools? Many people voluntarily move to these places for a better life

Where are the fathers in the equation?!

What have the Tories done to this country. It’s sickening. Such an amazing, flourishing country with more than enough to go around, now turned to sh1t.

We live in society who you are how much we earn the is to much of us unfortunately and government don’t give shit anymore

If you've got children and are claiming benefits you should be grateful to get a free house being paid for by the taxpayer, wherever it is. No one has a right to live in London if they can't afford it.
