Abu Zakariya is not your typical RU-vid content creator. After following him for a while, it’s clear to me that he’s not only legitimate and highly professional, but also an accomplished Islamic commentator/historian, I have yet to come across someone in the west on his level,especially in terms of the depth of his content and the way he presents historical events. Perhaps I haven’t looked enough, but at this point, that doesn’t really matter. When I first watched his videos, I was impressed, thinking it’s great that Muslims in the West have such a reliable source to truly learn from. However, as I continued to follow his work, I realized something even more significant: even as someone from the Middle East who considers myself well-read, I am deeply grateful for the insights Abu Zakariya offers. He presents historical events in a way that allows me to see things from a fresh, "outside the box" perspective, rather than always being confined to the typical approach. What sets him apart even further is his fairness and academic rigor, always delivering content that is balanced and thoroughly researched. The only Mujaddid candidate that has had long lasting effects that didn't lead to constant conflict was Sheikh Albani. Reviving the study and public awaking to hadith. Everyone else basically broke the muslim world and did a lot of things that lead to catastrophes.

They definitely revitalise the Ummah with their knowledge and sincerity!

Akhi its great to give a history summary of 79, etc.. dont see how these events in the 70's have any relevance in year 2024 and associated current events...

I really wonder what Iranians really think about the revolution. I live in the West and here the propaganda against Iran is incredibly strong. The revolution is being demonized and all the Iranians who live in my country seem not to want to speak. I would be really curious if there is an Iranian (who lives in Iran) who could tell me what the people's opinions are after more than 40 years since the revolution. Personally I am quite critical of this regim, but maybe I am biased because I live in the West.

Don't think the root JDD is about to revive nor renew. This root expresses intensity, concentration, so rather Mujaddid could the ere of radicalism, time of fundamentalism. It's more about renforcement, consolidation.

I think that last reviver was ibn uthaymen who was liked and respected by everyone
