Overlevelling is one of the game's issues tbh, I only felt challenged by the game during final chapter. People complained about grind in Yakuza 7, now there is too much XP given to the player in Yakuza 8. I hope in Yakuza 9 they will do level scaling for main story, so encounters will be more balanced.

@@Maxz85 true that...I wanna replay that segment with mods but it sucks i have to resort to that

@@Maxz85they could honestly keep the exp gain the same in Y9 but just give you the option of modifying your own level like in Xenoblade Definitive Edition

@@Maxz85 I never had this issue, I just kept going through game and only ever needed to grind a few times via the dungeon, are there other ways to get exp that well? because I couldn't think of any, Maybe like...don't do the entire dungeon the first time you do it? Or rather just, don't do it until you think you need to..?

@@Norrabal_anims I did not complete dungeons fully during my playthrough, never felt the need to grind them in IW. Street and substory bosses + usual enemies dropped plenty XP, I wasn't overleveled only during game's final fights and enjoyed them the most tbh.
