I know this is really 🤓 but... Hammer hook is Kiryu's third og dod double finisher like the uppercut then the double hand together swing down thus hammer hook. 😮
This makes me so upset now just learning this. I felt like im so close to liking this game alot and it turns out i would have loved the original version...that i never played. This sucks
would've been cool if kiryu also got a tiger drop thing along with komaki knockback. Like it would work the same as perfect guard but you press triangle rather than circle
By the time I got into Yakuza I no longer had a PS3, so I had to play the remastered titles-and between 3R's fame for enemies blocking a lot and people saying you just have to be good, I put it off for the longest time, until after Infinite Wealth actually. Eventually playing it on easy, I gotta say that eased up on a lot of the problems... aside from Lau Ka Long. That fight was still not fun, even then
@@DillionT Because the block from Yakuza 5 only originated from Kenzan (cross hands), while that from Yakuza 6 is changed (hands side-by-side). I am just curious as to how it looks before Kenzan.
@@DillionT So, is the Yakuza 1 block animation similar to Yakuza 6? From what I recall based on footage I found from Komaki School Parry footage (yes, because I swear to Jesus that there is no video of a moveset showcase for the PS2 games), it is more similar to Yakuza 6, but the left fist is slightly in front of the right fist, as opposed to side-to-side.
I'm playing the series rn in (mostly) release order and I decided to emulate yakuza 3 instead of playing the remaster. The combat in 3 OG is actually sick, probably my favorite combat system so far. Built off Yakuza 2 PS2 combat but made it more challenging and added wall combos and other tech, which is exactly what I wanted as Yakuza 2 is way too easy. Overhated game, I don't know exactly which issues people complain about are part of the remaster or just people not understanding the game, but I thought the game was great, I would rank it pretty high up the Yakuza games I've played.
Does this work like LJ where you do less damage the longer it goes, or just the same but without the limit? Edit: Got my answer just watching since I noticed his health bar was going down less as the combo kept going.
Pretty cool mod, but I'm having issues with the attack buffs, skills and the new awaken combo for Brawler, buffs and awaken brawler combo doesn't work, and skills doesn't appear. I'm playing on Steam with 1.2.0 Ver.
Gotta love how the gameplay fight has normal colors but the second we get to the QTEs we're back to G R E E N Now I wanna see the Nishiki fight but with Open Your Heart or What I'm Made Of
