I love you Andre and I totally sympathize with this sentiment. I haven't touched my retro computer equipment, any of my nitro RC car stuff, or any of my photography gear. All of my things have been scattered for the past 8 months or so. I have definitely noticed a huge Spike in my depression and a feeling like I'm losing myself. I feel like my hobbies and passions really keep me held together like a strong glue and when I neglect all of them I tend to fall apart. Thankfully moving all of my belongings and all of my stuff into my new home is a step in the right direction and I can get back to having everything organized and together so I can finally start working on things again. I would start projects at 1:00 a.m. completely at random in the past. When I need it I need it and these projects oftentimes are my life. I've been thinking about it quite a lot recently and I miss all of it. This video really resonated with me. I'm always here for you buddy.
Hey my dude. Trust me when i say, this rollercoaster ride you are on, only gets faster, and bumpier. However, life is what we make it. We choose to be who we are. No one else can do that. I absolutely believe, without a shadow of a doubt, you have chosen a path to success. But like you said, dont let it overwhelm you. Thats how we seem to get... lost. Jon, my friends, and my family, all call me "peter pan" (the boy who never grew up). They are VERY correct. However, that has hurt me in the long run. We dont always make the right decisions, but we learn. And you my friend, will be just fine. Just remember to buckle up, cuz this ride, has barely begun. Much love my dude.
I try to hold on to my youthfulness and optimism for as long as I can. Changes in my personality don't bother me as much, but I certainly don't want to get duller. But if change means becoming a better and more skilled person, I'm more than happy with that. In fact, I prefer to change if it means growing my skills and personality.
