If you haven't seen Part 1, watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z1Iz4tTVrZE.html Starting a shoe line from scratch and growing it year after year-does that sound like something you can do? What’s your biggest takeaway from our interview with Ashan? Let us know in the comments!
Afshan's story is very inspiring and ties in with my vision. I am putting up a small shoe making unit to provide employment to marginalised young single monthers in my community in Uganda. I believe their lives will be transformed when their ethically produced shoes start to hit the market later this year. I need partners like Afshan to tie into my vision and probably introduce a unique product to their market that tells a story from the pearl of Africa.
Afshan came from a marketing background. You should have definately asked her how she did her research of the industry. I don't know how to do that before going into a certain area of business and have always been curious. Businesses like handcrafted soap, and bedding(duvet) and pillow cushions. Any suggestions on how to find my target audience? This the 2nd video I saw from your channel. Portland Gear was the first and I had to subscribe. Marcus gave such a wealth of informtion. Love the reason he gave on why start a business.
