Just had a thought about the psychological impact of that first generation getting a treatment that killed most before them. I'm thinking some may go through survivor's guilt. Ultimately it will become routine and forgettable.

Unfortunately you are overstating this. Alpha Fold can't tell you what happens if you change an amino acid in a given protein.

I dont know if it's overstating. All the possibilities I mention in this video are from experts in the protein folding space (articles and videos in the description). But judging by the comments I've been receiving I will say it may be over simplifying the topic. It seems people are assuming this is some sort of medicine or at least an easy solution to creating medicine for cancer. In reality, it's an incredible breakthrough in a veryyy complex domain, meaning a LOT more work needs to be done on top of this technology to get to the hypotheticals mentioned in the video. I, of course, did not mean to over simplify, but I am learning and will focus on being more thorough in future videos. Thanks for watching!
