Hex-Side kinda seems like a private school, so the Clawthornes would have to be rich or have make a good enough income to send not 1 but TWO kids there, that or Eda and Lilith would’ve needed a recommendation from whatever witch elementary school or a Scholarship from Hex-Side they came from before hand, and I don’t know about witch school systems, but I’ve never hear of Middleschools giving out scholarships IRL.

​@@Cart00nist101 I think that in the future series Alador will convince Odalia to change her method of parenting(?). I can actually see why Odalia does all theese terrible things to Amity: she's trying to achieve her own dreams through her. Odalia tries to control Amity to set her on the "right" path, although there is no "right", and Amity's life is her own story. She may also think that Amity would thank her in the future, but Odalia is wrong, since she can't see that blight kids don't share her idea of happiness. Perhaps Alador will explain this to his wife the way his daughter explained this idea to him.

Although I think Odalia and Alador do love each other sometimes love isn’t enough. Alador is probably on his way on becoming a better dad but, it’s so hard imagining Odalia improving. I think for the sake of the kids they should just divorce and Alador should focus on becoming a better dad. If Dana proves me wrong I’ll humbly accept it. Unfortunately the owl house doesn’t have a lot of time.

After the most recent episode, it really does feel like Odalia would only marry for money.

I mean with Alador Inventing and her as a great business marketer, they both can definitely build their own empire with the success they could obtain in the long run so that having kids isn’t necessarily expensive. Not only that, based on episode they were introduce in, it seems like they both do seem to have status.

Yeah, I still think she should face serious consequences. She was willing to help belos commit genocide. Even if she realizes belos is planning to kill her too and comes to her senses, she needs to be arrested when this is all over.

I hope that she doesn't change her mind. I don't think that someone like her should get a redemption arc. It would especially have to be a very quick one because of the limited content left in the series.

Honestly, I mostly just wish we were at least getting a longer third season. There is a lot here to sort out.

Everyone elses kids can die horribly as long as hers come out on top of the new pecking order. I'm pretty sure this is a comic about an alternate universe where Odalia didn't fall to who she becomes in canon. One of my favorites since no matter how terrible of a person she is to this day, a version finding a better path warms my heart.

Given the more recent episode I do believe there is some complexity to why Alador is the way he is. It would seem as though he doesnt actually register what is going on around him while he works, and it seems he is put to work almost all the time. Beyond this, despite the last two episode showing he made a habit of doing things that were simply fun, in his current days he considers it as "him being a goof off" this would entail that while he used to invest his time in other things beyond work, something down the line put an image in his head that if hes not innovating hes doing nothing, and I'd wager its whatever drove a wedge between the bBights and Darius. This in no way makes his parenting any better than what it is, but at least it gives credence that there is more complexity to why his mind is so absent from the world around him than odalias......full buisness bitch tiger parent methods

why get another cheesy redemption arc? she basically abused her family mentally for who knows how long, then you expect her to turn good then they forgive her all the sudden? absolutely not! plus from the moment we saw her she is proven to do anything to get what she wants. she even knew what the day of unity was and didn't care as long as they got what she wanted. [also ik that she didn't technically know what the day of unity was, she still knew belos was using it for evil and gave it to him anyways.] plus I think a more satisfying ending would be that she would die from a fall or smth [bec this is Disney I mean what did you expect] that's a more deserved punishment tbh. or if we want to go the more merciful route, she could work as the abomination janitor or a job in that department that's in the same position as Alador. so then she would have understood what it was like in her husbands shoes, and he should divorce her too that's for sure

The death penalty is almost never used, even in the case of actual murderers. Odalia's *actual* crimes add up to child abuse, domestic abuse, and child endangerment. That doesn't even come close to a death penalty or even a life sentence in prison. Greed, disgusting personality, and being classist aren't crimes. Horrible character traits? Absolutely. But crimes? No. Heck, we know nothing of the laws in the Boiling Isles, for all we knew she didn't even break any laws! You aren't judge, jury, or executioner. Yes, she's a manipulative bitch and an awful mother, no, person in general. But the old 'bad guy dying a horrible, torturous death is older than Disney. Talk about cheesy and cliche.
