I really wanted to talk about this for a few months now... MERCH: ► www.designbyhumans.com/shop/N... Links: ► / necrit94 ► / necrit94 ► / necrit94 ► / discord ► / necrit94
I HATE this misconception that one thing has to lead to Jinxs break down. EVERYTHING lead to her break down including her seeing the dead bodies of her parents. That is the first crack in her ABANDONMENT issues. The reason she cant take it when Vi left her behind, her parents left them and Vi was her only family left. Yes Vander is her "Family" but Vi is her only true family and the only one who truly believes in her. That is all part if it, mental health issues are complicated and often have many many causes. In fact I wouldnt be suprised if the creators came back and said the parents were absentee because they needed to work so hard, which would also be a stressor to abandonment issues. This is why I love this show to much and the way is portrayed Jinx and her real life issues.
RIGHT? How do ppl seriously believe that jinx only went crazy because vi left her that one time? Ppl go slowly insane with many things stabbing them in the heart
yes, I mean we see her start having those scribbled hallucinations over enforcer's head in that very scene. she is someone with mental illness whose illness was exacerbated by all the trauma she went through, STARTING with that bridge.
My prediction now is that everything Necrit just said was nothing Riot turns into a huge plot point. Stabbed coin?? HUGE! Random bar guy? Actually Graves. Random shadow during building collapse? That was Vex all along!
The scene on the bridge at the start absolutely was the "seed" of Jinx's mental decline. It was an incredibly traumatic event in her early life that she internalized, and there's the jinx scribbles over tons of elements of that scene. I think we're supposed to be reliving the scene from Powder's perspective, and we can see how Jinx wasn't made by any one person or thing, but by all the tragedy and trauma that the kids experience through the whole show.
agree, it was a double misdirection since the first instinct one would have was that draven "misses" (lmao), when it was obviously draven getting a double-triple pentakill baron steal on another summoner's rift game
It's a very small thing, but I believe the shot at 7:38 of Jinx's feet was actually from her first reveal scene on the airship. The little embers in the air are present in the earlier shot, while on the bridge there are none.
Arcane is the greatest show I have seen in my lifetime. I'm literally obsessed. Fucking OBSESSED! I fully expected to cancel my Netflix subscription after the show ended and the only reason I had the subscription was due to Arcane. I have watched Arcane so many times, so many times............
7:46 it actually occurs about 8 minutes and 45 seconds into episode 4 when Jinx has her first on screen fight with the Firelights during the botched smuggling operation.
2:14 this character has in fact appeared in the show in Arc I inside The Last Drop, but I expect to see more of him in S2 edit: lmao that ending, I hope more people will watch your S2 predictions :D
2:19 Actually that character did appear in the show, you can briefly notice him sitting next to the guy with glasses (who Vander got out of trouble - you know, the "don't threaten the guy who pours the drinks" part) just before (or after) Sevika tells Vander he's gotten weak, when the Lanes gathered in The Last Drop.
Riot owns the IP and sent some writers for the show, but Fortische is the studio that did the vast majority of the work, they're the ones that deserve praise. I see loads of videos like this that don't even mention them and they deserve so much more recognition. And for this video specifically, it's pretty common for trailers to be outsourced to get another studio. I don't know that that is necessarily the case with Arcane, but if you never mentioned Fortische, I doubt you do either. If you're going to praise someone, make sure the correct person gets the credit. Fortische deserves better.
@@angelerror4086 How is it pedantic to want credit given where it's due? If you were the one being ignored despite your effort, you'd sure as hell want to correct people.
@@needamuffin yeah, sure So i should search up every single person who ever participated in the film and thanks every single one of them individually in every sentences i say. Exaggerated example, i know and might even be a bit less similar, but you talk like this man is pretending or doesn't know and acknowledge fortiche, which is not true. It doesn't fucking harm anyone that he say riot out of habit instead of fortiche. I don't even know if the editing is done by fortiche or no, yeah animation is done by them but did they edit the trailer which is what necrit is talking about here? Why does this even matter anymore riot now owns fortiche
@@angelerror4086 Yes it absolutely harms Fortische to not credit them appropriately. Something of this prestige will absolutely skyrocket the studio's credibility in the industry and not giving them the credit they deserve could lead to missing out on opportunities that would otherwise arise. And no, Riot does not own Fortische. They invested more into the studio, yes, but they had already invested well before Arcane came out. Riot themselves explicitly stated that they have a "significant *non-controlling* stake in the company". That means that if they wanted to branch out and pursue other things, they have the ability to do so. And I'm not just talking about this video in particular, my scope is much larger. I've seen loads of articles that do the same thing, laud Arcane but not even so much as mention the company behind it, instead crediting Riot completely. Whether through malice or ignorance, it's a shitty thing to do and I don't understand how anyone can downplay that and think they're in the right.
@@needamuffin I can't with this, I wrote these fucking comments not to fucking downplay the importance of crediting, but rather to point out how stupid it is to comment on this video. You said it yourself, your scope is bigger, then why not make a blog, or a fucking reddit post, or something that doesn't read like you're attacking an innocent person just saying sth out of habit. You have no reason to comment this on specifically this video, and it just sounded like you're obsessing over the fact that he's saying "riot" instead of "fortiche" One fucking person talking about the editing of a trailer doesn't have any fucking responsibility to credit every person who worked on specifically the editing part of the fucking trailer, it is simply unreasonable to expect them to do sth that they don't need to do AND that could've been done unintentionally and not intentional
Also, the picture where young Vi is embracing young Jinx while one of Jinx's eye is facing the camera? It never happened. It was actually Silco who embraced her at the end of episode 3.
As for the season 2 teaser trailer: "Everyway I slice it, If I go after your sister alone, one of us comes back in a box" "I can do this myself. No-one else needs to get hurt." "I'm glad it's you, had to be you" You can pretty easily assume this is Cait to Vi, Vi to cait about jinx, and Jinx to Vi, but the only one of these quotes that are pretty much confirmed in this context, is the first one. Vi could be talking about Warwick, or urgot, or something totally different, maybe it's not even a Zaunite threat. Jinx could be talking to Ekko, caitlyn, Warwick or nobody, just in her head hearing voices of either Silco, Vi, Vander, mylo, whoever.
Her eyes changed because of Shimmer, not because she's crazy. Also the scene on the bridge traumatized both of them. 1 moment didn't make Jinx; a lifetime of trauma cause disassociation.
I have to say, back when you did the teaser breakdown, I did comment saying that the wizard was probably not Viktor but a mage in a flashback. Give me a call for next seasons trailer breakdown 😂
I remember arguing with people from the first time we saw Firelight Ekko in the trailer, up until the face reveal in episode 7, that that was, in fact, Ekko. All I needed was that red scarf, and bam. I am so happy that at least ONE of the theories I had proved demonstrably true.
I hope that more studios decide to do their trailers like this. It's gotten to the point where I just don't watch any trailers or promotional material if I already know I'm going to watch a film/series.
This is a really cool video dude 😂 no one really goes back to trailers for things after the thing already released but it’s actually really cool! You see things and realize how the trailer gives you a whole different view from the actual thing! Awesome video!
1 thriller got me the most. ,,Are we still sisters ? Nothink will ever change that" What a beautiful reunion so sad it will be cut short. " And on the video u saw silco with his ppl from episode 3 afterwards jinx vi together that made u think they will be fighting them. Masterclass
They can still use those unimportant shots because every scene in arcane reflect the overall theme of the show plus it fits the cool narration in the trailer.
It can still. In fact i always doubted that Vander would be brought back as Warwick. Mylo was stabbed near the heart: in the only Arcane image of warwick in Singed lab we see tubes around the chest that goes in that part of the chest. Als i'm curios how phisically different will be Warwick Arcane version vs Lol.
@@darthcygnus7692 from Warwcks role in society before his transformation, to the title "hound of the underground", WW theme playing during shimmer, induced Vander, WW voicelines to Vi and Jinx, and his physical build, Vander makes 10 times more sense than mylo.
The shot where showing jinx shoes is not from the ekko and jinx bridge battle it from the progress day shimmer heist thats the intro for adult powder.. And also the shot that jinx biting the pin of the bomb, her eyes there is grey not blue
Just a detail but at 1:27, that is not Greyson's model, her physique is completly different and the skin color doesn't match. That seems to be the model of Marcus
Finally someone mentioned this. I've been talking about this for a while how they completely misdirect you in the trailer. They give you expectations only to flip them and do something completely different. Surprised nobody been talking about it until now
Necrit, I and others never once thought the 2 with Vi and Jinx were Viktor and Jayce. -.- NOTHING about the character who we would come to know as Claggor seemed to be "The Man of Tomorrow"
I love your summaries of videos, but I do think, much like many things, this is a lot less “misdirection” on Riot’s part and more just trying to read into and solve things in ways you want to fit-I’m not saying they didn’t intentionally not reveal major details, but I also don’t think it was outright misdirection. Theories on new champions, the misidentification of Viktor and Jayce, and such are big stretches imo
I am pretty sure he will make an appearance as it was teased multiple times (e.g. by Singed's bandages and season 2 announcement). If he wouldn't at least get a mention those teasers would be pointless, especially the one in the announcement where they could have included anything else but included WW's hunt (W) SFX.
I mean we can be pretty sure that if Vander wasn't Warwick there wouldn't be SO many similarities between current savage wolfman and Vander's fight once he doses himself with shimmer.
the amount of foreshadowing of Warwick is too much to not include him in S2 - so if he somehow is not in S2 there is something really strange going on that wouldn't make sense
Technically, you are still wrong about everything, because the purple in Jinx's eyes is not from her mental decay, but from the shimmer infusion which was still fresh from Singeds operation. Some might argue it's connected, but lets be real, its shimmer that triggered the "mutation" of her eyes and not the madness.
@@Necrit If thats the case, you are right. But in this video, you just stated that her eye color changes because of her mental deteriation (accodringly to your prediciton video back than) and not an outside influences. There is a slight difference in both statements:p
@@MrKillrpig She had mental issues before shimmer, so she just broke when it got injected into her. The statement doesnt hold, only assuming her mental problems are the cause of her eye color change. How far had her mind to be broken (without shimmer) to change color according to the statement? It wasnt her mind, it was shimmer that changed it. Her PTSD just got enhanced by it.
Another misdirection moment was with the Turbo Chemtank. It's also related with Silco and the transformation. Because it looks like it's him, and then Vi fighting it, it could only be the big bad right? After all, it's also making reference to an item in the game and all... but no, it was just a goon.
Game theory had a video about game devs changing the fame bcs of predictions. Either to follow them or ... not. This sometimes resulted in a rushed /unfinished release. Therefore I hope that we only find out what they want us to. Or if we get more they keep it
i just thought there would be an apocolypse due to a chemical disaster and silco would leap and ascend control and start a political overthrough for zaun while others tried to survive and end the nightmare ,
The trailers are all about deceiving you. And if you look at trailers like Star Wars Rogue One, the trailer has footage that is no where close to the actual movie
the funny thing is where i was looking arcan first time i only look at the face from the doctor and i though direct this is singed the face form the blick and then i saw this is singed my though is only ok i was right
9:10 that still might be rys even with the change in timeline/occurrences. I would not be surprised if they just switched around who in the show used glamour. Himerdinger made the city so why hide the fact he’s a yodel, everyone knows and don’t care anymore. But rys walking around the world as a ruin carved millennium old blue dude who doesn’t want to attract attention I can see using glamour. Himerdinger lost the reason to hide Rys now needs a realistic reason to be able to walk the world and stay incognito. Being a blue dude is the complete opposite of that even if some might just think him as a fae. Which spoiler alert that still sticks out as fae are rare. So glamour and now he’s a plain looking whitish tan dude like he originally was.
This is the first time I've seen the trailers, it was an interesting vid. Not seeing both his wrong guesses and the trailers but having seen the series.
