I feel like that since the trailer is focusing on zaun vs piltover. Jinx may have voluntarily joined the big baddie when vi was captured by piltover. He probably took advantage of her mental state after whatever disaster happened with her and vi. This would lead in to the whole vi vs jinx theme. Just a guess tho.
I'm thinking that Vi will see the civil unrest from Caitlyn's side after she is bailed out while the main Zaun villain is showing Jinx Zaun's struggle. This is probably why Jinx asks if they are still sisters, because they are on opposing sides of an escalating civil war where both sides have their biases.

Calling it now: The purple stuff is connected to the void and Dr Mundo is connected to all of this as they used Osweld Asylum as a testing facility, with Mundo being a prime test subject (which you know eventually went rogue).
Makes total sense. Matter of fact, I'll throw my own theories and say that the Purple Stuff is not a drug, is like a hex-crystal but from the void and the Chem Barons are either melting it or synthezing it to create a compound thinking it could act like a drug but maybe is just a drop of void magic and thats why "people" are wanting more... Is not the "people" that want the stuff, is the Void taking control of the bodies so they can take over more people, but maybe people like Mundo, Jinx and so on are kind of resistance to that magic and are not taken over but get in a limbo-like state where the "formula" activates and needs negative emotions (like a void) to be on the host but never fully triggers and all is left is the last emotion they felt (Warwick=Pain, Jinx=Excitement, Mundo=Sadism)
They have said no one has survived the void, which these ppl going insane could be an example. However on the other hand, there are a few we know that have survived. Perhaps the void/substance is a living thing and decides. Something that works like venom
@@WarauTR no one survives the void in an uncorrupted state, either via the mind or body. You can live but ur gonna be pretty messed up one way or another. The void and any substance/creature related to it is a corruption of life on runeterra as the void is an antithesis of life and seeks to destroy/consume and lead to more destruction, but its not fully understood.
As someone who went in blind, it's a real pleasure looking back at all of the LoL gamers' predictions. Man, I bet it was so exciting to be wrong about so much of this.
For those who never played league or never read the lore, I feel like glamor would make those people confused more than anything, so it's best never introducing it, or else you'll probably have to explain it a bit.
That is surely true, but one way or another this series is still for League players and lore nerds too so hopefuly there will be some straight retcon for the Glamour

Glamor might be retconned already given there's a giant statue of Heimerdinger in Piltover according to LoR. It's a pretty old idea and we've never seen one mention of it past that comic.
Ngl, I really hope that Viktor plays a significant role in this show. His lore runs so deep in Zaun and his relationship with Jayce is huge. He is also the perfect Byronic Hero type that is a misunderstood genius. One that could seemingly be doing evil, while actually helping the protagonists all along.
Remember the 4 hextech crystals from the very first trailer? I'm willing to bet they power the Atlas Gauntlets, Zapper, Mercury Hammer and Prototype Hex Core respectively
One of Warwick interactions to Vi is: "Who taught you how to punch?", since all his previous phrases to Jinx and Vi have to do with their past, I think maybe he's the one who taught her how to punch.
If the purple stuff has to do with the Void in some way, then they are practically addicted to the Void. Which means that Malthazar has some competition for recruiting void followers.

The "fae" character still can be fae with 2 ways how, 1st she can have male voice changing device so the people wouldnt know that she is a girl, 2nd they could give her a male grunting to cover it up in the trailer so it isnt a spoiler
True, Matpat from Film Theory said that not 100% of the trailer is what the move contains. Like sometimes character faces get CG replaced to hide spoiler or voices being cut or dubbed over.
9:40 the stuff on the character's back is actually the device we see in the devblog about new champions when they say the new champ will come from a technologically ahead place. So I don't know if this is Faey but it is the new champ for sure !
@@o_v69lie Yeah I agree. Ekko --as far as Runeterra lines say-- is friends with people who ride those hoverboards (dropboards). It is either him, or his friend Kay. However, directly compare Ekko's clothing and tattoo to that character and you get quite the resemblence.
I’m so glad that Silco was more complex than what you predicted. Arcane is the first media from League of Legends and it definitely made me want to know more.
You know, this also explains why Jayce, Caitlyn, Jinx, and Vi have mana. They don't have it, they're weapons have the mana. And that's why they can't use abilities, they're weapons ran out.
@@FerDeLira that's why they can't use abilities such as Caitlyn's Q, the gun uses mana to do that and fire different things, no mana and it's just a regular rifle.
Could it be possible that the masked person is Ekko before he got his time reset thingy, or at least someone close to him? We alrdy see in his LoR cards that he knew Jinx and Vi when they were younger, including what Jinx's name was (obviously implying he'd make an appearance in Arcane) and he knew people with hoverboards like the ones we see in these trailers (dropboarder in LoR).
On one side, I want Vander to be Warwick to have a real origin and past for him. But on the other hand, Vander seems like such a lovely father-like dude, sweet and caring, it would be too painful if that's how he ends, as a savage blood-lusting beast. I mean, I wouldn't complain, but still, #pain.
Heimerdinger showing up without an announcement in the film just makes the theory Warwick being Vander and also showing up in the series more credible i say this because i thought other champ wouldn't show up like in the ruination event.

That man also looks exactly like the same man from the portrait of Caitlyn's family we saw in the first trailer (honestly surprised Necrit didn't mention that). So he's probably Caitlyn's father. Also, its possible he's an artificer who works specifically for the Wardens.

So i was scrolling through the Vi wiki and I've found this under trivia "There is a significant indication that the pair did grow up together, however. With Vi currently suffering from amnesia, Jinx has taken it upon herself to try and trigger her memories". What if during arcane's events Vi ends up losing her memories. (Might explain why Jinx asks if they're still sisters) and Jinx, in her fucked up kind of way she tries to bring back Vi's memories by causing massive destruction like the day Vi got amnesia? Jinx just desperately trying to bring her sister back but due to her mind being not exactly ok this is the only way she can think of to help Vi reclaim her memories.
My interpertacion of the scene with Heimerdinger is that he shows his yordle form to the smartest People in Piltover, kind of like how in Ixtal only the mages that pass the test can find out that the Void didn't consume the rest of the world.

I'd honestly be more than happy with Glamour being scrapped. Lots of places in Runeterra genuinely seem to not care if people are Yordles are not. They are judged by their worthiness and not appearances. - Demacia Literally had Poppy reveal herself to Humans and after proving herself she was more than accepted, despite being a creature of magical origin. - Noxus, who only cares for strength and what they can bring to the empire, has Kled in their Ranks because of his ferocity and cunning skill in battle. - Ionia have Kennen where he was scouted by The League of Shadows ( I think that's what it is?) and is now currently a leader of that organisation. - Piltover seems to be a place where they are progressive enough to accept races and people from all aspects of Runeterra, Including Yordles. Especially those as brilliantly minded as Heimerdinger. Through Character and Story, Glamour seems pretty redundant, at least to all the named Yordles of League of Legends anyays.
Warwick has Voice Lines with Jinx and Vi which can really make us think he is their father or adoptive father... Warwick to Jinx: You were there! (this one) Warwick to Jinx: Let me forget. 14:43 I think the Green fireflies may be related to the Green Hoverboeard people. It could fit their thematic of flying animals. Also, notice at 13:57 that Vi's gauntlets are gold and blue, as if they were "official" Hextech prototypes, whereas in game they look more "junk-made". But according to her lore, she picked up the gauntlets from a Zaunian to save the minors, and then got them upgraded when she joined the Piltover police...

There are hex crystals which are from the brackern. And chemtech which is an unstable version that's used in zaun. He might be regarding to chemtech or something
Hex crystals are from Skarner's people. But atleast in Piltover, like the Ferros family, they only got one brackern crystal from the brackerns themselves and they just synthesized the rest.
There are some “authentic” hextech crystals from what I can tell, which do contain Brackern, but a majority of the ones used by Piltover are weaker synthetic crystals, artificially created to imitate the brackern crystals. Production of synthetic crystals is controlled entirely by the Ferros family and contributes to the Zaun Grey, the toxic smog that shrouds Zaun.

Great analysis as always. Not so sure about theory that Silco experimenting on Jinx is what makes her the way she is. Keeping in mind we know that Jinx at least believes that whatever happened was her fault, and we do see Vi punching her, it seems more likely that Jinx did it to herself by accident somehow.

honestly i really think that warwick will be in this story ,because he has a few voice lines for jinx and Vi , and Ekko too because he says that his crush was Jinx until she started talking with a gun. Swain says that it was jinx's fault , he might know something.
10:41 I could also be that this shot comes from earlier in Silco's life. At a time where he did not have the scar yet. Maybe he received it because some experiment went wrong (he seems like a science guy). Now further conjecture: I think it would make sense from a writers point of view if he was, much like Viktor, a Zaunite scientist who got to work together with somebody from Piltover. Their experiment then somehow went wrong, likely because the Piltoven fucked up, yet he managed to push the blame on Silco who then was kicked from the project. And now he is trying to take revenge on the whole of Piltover by using the purpule stuff. At least, I think it's much more likely to be very dangerous instead of having any healing properties considering it seems connected to the void.

Regarding Silco's apparent "healed" corruption, I think he might be wearing makeup possibly? If you look closely at that screen shot, the skin around where the scar would be is a slightly different shade, as if he had used foundation or something to cover it up. That would explain why his eye is still all corrupt-y colored and you can see a bit of the scar still. This is just a guess though.

I have diss agree with his thoughts on the line jinx ask vi about being sister they can still be blood but when an event so tramatic and terrible happens and it's one sibling fault this question could be asked because the one who did it could be so scared they don't know what's going on and if they will lose the love of the other siblings or family due to it.
Your theory as to what the origins of the purple drug is really interesting. I'd love it to be the focus of the next season. Investigating will then lead them to Shurima. And I hope, they use Seraphine RIGHT. That could be her redemption moment for many people.
I hope down the line it's explained exactly how Jinx even meets Ekko and their falling out since she basically becomes a criminal and Ekko becomes more of a vigilante and we could find out how he got his "bat" in the first place. There's so much potential in this show to used and explain so many characters and just events in the lore.
At 10:00 you can see that the mysterious character has some kind of green device on his back that looks very much like what Riot teased us with the green electric device icon about the new upcoming ADC
It would be cool if jinx catalcyst was excitement as the more she blows things up the more purple her eyes become and her movement becomes more wild however when she calms down the purple slowly subsides in her eyes until becoming blue again when she finally snaps she is in a constant state of excitement.

I thought the two hands at 13:42 that appear while talking about sisters, were Vi and Caitlyn, not Vi and Jayce. Thought that fits the sister narrative maybe better and the clothing on the right hand (dark blue and brown with white fabric sticking out) looks kinda like cait to me. And it doesn't really need to be tied to the next shot with Jayce
I think Jinx's purple eye explains why she can see Yordle (magical creature) true form. But addict should also see Heim true form, if that is the case.
The idea of silco trying to restore his face, I am unsure about it, but it would kind of make sense if he was some disgraced piltovan who had to move to zaun after things went wrong. After all, piltover has a strong presence of beauty, while zaun doesn’t really care what scars you got.
